MAH CET registration process 2026 started on January 10,2026. The online form is available at the cetcell.mahacet.org website. Last date to apply for MAH MBA CET 2026 is February 12, 2026. Fee payment window will close on February 13, 2026. MAH MBA CET 2026 will be held on April 6, 7, 8 and May 9, 2026. Candidates can appear for one or both sessions.

How to Register for MAH MBA CET 2026?

MAH MBA CET 2026 applications can be filled in online mode only. Check how to fill MAH CET application form 2026:

  • Visit Maharashtra CET website cetcell.mahacet.org
  • Click on CET examination portal AY 2026-27
  • Click on Register option
  • Enter basic details to create a login
  • Complete APAAR and Adhaar authentication
  • Once done, you'll be redirected to application dashboard
  • Go to MBA/MMS CET 2026 tab
  • Click on New Registration tab
  • Click on I accept and proceed tab
  • Enter personal details, address, mobile phone number
  • Create a password and click on save and proceed

Q:   What are the documents to upload for MAH CET registration?
A: 

The important documents that are mandatory for filling up the MAH CET MBA registration cum application form are a recent passport size photograph and signature. Size of the photo should be 3.5 cm in breadth and 4.5 cm in height. It should be less than 50 kb. Size of the signature image must be 3.5 cm in breadth and 1.5 cm in height and it should be less than 50 kb. Apart from photo and signature, candidates need to keep the following documents with them at the time of MAH MBA CET application form filling.

·       Class 10 marksheet

·       Class 12 marksheet

·       Graduation marksheets/certificate

·       Postgraduation marksheet (if applicable)

·       Birth certificate

·       Proof of address

·       Recent Passport size photo

·       Signature on A4 size white sheet

·       Caste category certificate (if applicable)

·       Credit/debit card or net banking credentials

Q:   Till when can I submit the MAH CET application fee?
A: 

Candidates can submit the MAH MBA CET application fee before the last date of form submission. It is not mandatory to pay the fees at the time of exam registration. They can register for the exam on a particular day and complete the form filling process or fee payment on another day, however, all the activities have to be completed within the deadline otherwise the form will not be accepted.

Until the exam fee is paid, the application form submission will remain incomplete. Thus, candidates must ensure that they pay the fee on time and check the acknowledgement slip generated upon successful fee payment. In case the acknowledgement is not received within 24 hour of form submission, candidates must reach out to MAH MBA CET exam helpdesk to check the status.

MAH CET application fee has been increased this year. Below table indicates category-wise MBA CET application fee:

Documents Required for MAH MBA CET 2026 Application

At the time of filling MAH CET 2026 application form for MBA/MMS, candidates will have upload the following:

  • Recent passport size photo (in specific dimension and format)
  • Scanned signature (in specific dimension and format)
  • Aadhaar Card

  • Caste category certificate (if applicable)

Q:   How can I choose MAH CET MBA test city in the application form?
A: 

The MAH MBA CET application form will have a section where candidates can select test city as per their choice. They can select up to three cities from the given list. Select the first city as the first preference. The exam authorities try to allot the exam centre to the candidate in the city of first preference. Select your home town as first preference so that they are allotted the nearest exam centre.

MAH MBA CET exam centre venue will not be mentioned in the application form so you will have no access to that information. You will have to make the selection on the basis of the names of cities only. The venue address will be printed on the MAH CET admit card only.

Q:   Can I change my MAH CET exam centre after the admit card has been issued?
A: 

You cannot change your MAH MBA CET exam centre after the admit card has been issued. You will have to take the test at the exam centre that has been allotted to you. Candidates will not be allowed to take the test at any other exam centre either.

You must make prior arrangements to reach the exam centre on time. If you have been allotted the test centre in another city you must visit the city a day before so that there is no delay in reaching the examination centre. Candidates are supposed to be at the centre at least 30 minutes before the exam commencement. Once the gates are closed, candidates will not be allowed inside the venue. They cannot even take the exam in another session. Thus, download the MAH CET admit card as soon as it is released and make arrangements for the exam day in advance.

MAH MBA CET Application: Photo and Signature Specifications

MAH MBA CET 2026 applicants will have to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature in .jpg/.jpeg format only. Given below are specifications for document upload:

  • The image should be a recent passport style colour picture clicked against white or light coloured background

  • Size of the photo image 50 mm x 50 mm in size. 

  • Photo must be mimimum 5 mb and maximum 100 kb in size
  • Signature should be on white paper by black ink. It should be clearly visible.

  • Size of signature image must be 3.5 cm in breadth and 1.5 cm in height and must be less than 50 kb.

Q:   Can I select test city outside Maharashtra for MBA CET?
A: 

Yes, candidates applying under All India category can select test cities outside Maharashtra. However, the exam is held in a very limited number of cities outside Maharashtra. Candidates can select from thr following cities only:

Q:   Will I have to fill a new application form and pay the fee at the time of MAH MBA CET counselling?
A: 

Candidates will have to fill the MAH MBA CET counselling registration form which is different from the exam application form. The counselling form will be available at the examination portal as per the schedule for that year. Those applying through MAH CET score will have to only fill the registration form and not pay any fee. Those applying through other MBA entrance exam score will have to pay registration fee of INR 1200 (For Reserved category INR 1000).

MAH CET MBA 2026 Application Form: Important Points to Remember

Given below are some important points that candidates must remember at the time of MBA CET application form 2026 filling:

  • Aadhaar and APAAR verification is mandatory.
  • After successful submission of basic information in the MAH MBA CET registration form, the Application ID will be generated.

  • This ID will be required for all future login purposes related to exam and admission.

  • Candidate should keep a print out of the application form (containing fee payment details) & E-receipt for reference.

  • Not more than one MAH MBA CET application should be submitted by any candidate.

  • Candidates must strive to fill the MAH CET form without errors as most of the fields are not editable after submission and also during form correction.
  • Moreover, the MBA CET fees is non-refundable, so erroneous form will be rejected and fee amount will also not be refunded. 

Preferred Web Browser to Fill MAH CET 2025 Application Form

Preferred web browsers to fill MAH CET application form are Internet Explorer (version 11 and above) or Mozilla Firefox (version 50 to 61) or Google Chrome (version 50 to 69). Candidates must only use laptop or desktop to fill the MAH CET application form. DO NOT use a smart phone to fill the application form.

MAH MBA CET 2026 Application Form: Mistakes to Avoid 

  • Do not leave any mandatory field empty in the MBA CET application form.

  • Select your home city as first preference for ease of taking the exam. Or the closest location so that you can easily reach the exam centre.
  • Make the fee payment on the same day as form filling or pay it before the deadline. If the fee payment remains incomplete, your form will not be accepted.

  • Enter only valid and functional email ID and phone number correctly as login ID and other communication will be shared through these.

  • Always check your junk e-mail folder also for registration related emails from Maharashtra State CET.

Q:   I am in final year of graduation. Can I apply for MAH MBA CET?
A: 

Yes, you can apply for MAH MBA CET. However, you're aggregate of first and second year of bachelor's degree course should meet the minimum criteria (50 percent for Unreserved category and 45 percent for reserved category). You will also have to submit the final year passing certificate or marksheet to the university in which you finally take admission by October. Until then, your admission will be provisional.

Q:   How many cities can I select in the MAH MBA CET application form for test centre allotment?
A: 

Candidates can select upto three cities for test centre allotment in the MAH MBA CET application form. Candidates must select their hometown as their first city of preference as the examination authority strives to allot the test centre to candidate in the city of first preference only. Thus, it is wise to select the first city in which you are currently residing. Otherwise you can select the city the closest to your current location.

MAH MBA CET Form Correction Process 2026

The option to edit MAH CET application form will be given after the form application window open. In the MAH MBA CET form correction process, candidates can edit name, date of birth, photo signature and gender. they cannot change the test city unlike in other MBA entrance exams. Given below is the process to make changes in the already submitted MBA CET 2026 form. 

  • Go to MAH CET MBA/MMS website
  • Click on ‘registered candidate login’
  • Enter application number and password
  • Go to relevant sections and make the changes
  • Review the entries and click on submit

However, it is advised that candidates fill the MAH MBA CET 2026 application form without any mistakes in the first attempt only and review the form for editing before submission.

Q:   Are MAH CET application form and counselling form the same?
A: 

No, the MAH CET application form and MAH CET Counselling form are different and candidates have to fill them separately. The MAH CET application form is valid for the entrance test only and the MAH CET counseling application form has to be filled by only those candidates who qualify the entrance test and wish to participate in the seat allotment process. The MAH MBA CET counseling registration form is released about 2 months after the entrance test result announcement. The candidates will have to fill the counseling form at the MAHA CET counseling portal.

Those who shall have filled the MAH CET MBA/MMS application form and appeared for the exam, will not have to pay the registration fee at the time of CAP. However, those who will be participating in MAH CET CAP through CAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT score will have to pay the registration fee of Rs 1000 (Rs 800 for registered category candidates).

Q:   Can I change my test city option after submitting the MAH MBA CET application form?
A: 

There is no provision of changing test city in MAH CET MBA unlike other MBA entrance exams such as CAT or CMAT. The option to change the test city preference is not given in the MAH MBA CET form correction process. Thus, candidates be very careful in selecting test cities in the online form. If they select wrong cities they will have to fill a fresh form in order to be allotted the exam centre in the correct choice of city. Candidates must also keep in mind to fill the form before the deadline as once the registration window is closed no request for editing of form will be entertained and the test centre will be allotted as per the selection made in the form.  

Candidates should choose their home town or city of current residency as the first option. If there is no MAH CET test centre in your town/city, choose the nearest city. You must cross check the information that they have entered in the form twice before hitting the submit button.

Q:   What is the MAH CET application fees?
A: 

MAH MBA CET application fee is INR 1,500 for General category candidates and INR 1300 for Reserved category candidates. There is no fee relaxation for non-Maharashtra candidates. The MAH CET fee is to be paid at the time of application submission. The fee payment is to be done in online mode only through debit/credit card or net banking. 

Q:   Is there a provision to fill MAH CET application form with late fee?
A: 

There is no provision to fill MAH CET application form with late fee. The examination body announces application window closing date with the start of registration process. It also extends the form submission deadline a couple of times, but it is best to submit the MAH MBA CET application form and pay the fee before the first deadline. The sooner you submit the form, higher the chances of getting the test city of your choice.

Q:   Where is MAH CET held for MBA/MMS course?
A: 

MAH MBA CET exam is held in about 48 cities. In every city, there is at least one exam centre. Since MAH CET is a state-level exam, the number of test cities is more within Maharashtra than in rest of India. The exam is held in 36 cities of Maharashtra and 12 cities in rest of the country.
