Check here what SNAP test takers said about the SNAP 2024 Test 1:

SNAP 2024 exam was easy. Maths was a bit tough. I practiced official SNAP mock tests in which I could solve 19-20 questions easily, but in the main exam, the questions were more calculation based. Some questions were lengthy. Some had 5-6 line description. Logical Reasoning and English were easy. The pattern was same and no change was there.

Overall difficulty level of SNAP 2024 was easy but I couldn’t solve more questions due to time issue. VA was easy, LR was moderate and Quant was tough, but overall the exam was easy. I am appearing for NMAT 2024 and XAT 2025.

SNAP 2024 exam was not difficult but there was a need to maintain speed. In English, one could attempt all questions. The focus was on Grammar such as conjunction and adverbs. Word meanings were there but they were easy. In Quants, focus was on Geometry. In LR section, focus was on clocks and calendars. I have given CAT 2024 and not will appear for NMAT 2024 and XAT 2025.

SNAP 2024 was not that difficult, it was on the moderate side, but time management was the key. I have not appeared for any other exam, I was quite nervous but it was not that difficult. I would suggest candidates of SNAP 2024 Test 2 and Test 3 to go for basics, appear for mock tests.

My SNAP 2024 exam went fine. English was pretty easy, The A-LR section was a bit tougher than English. If you had a bit more time, you could crack it but since it is extremely speed based test and you have to think quickly, so it was a little bit tough on that side. Quant was calculation based so again if you had more time you could complete all the questions.

SNAP candidates are not required to apply separately for all SIU campuses. They can select colleges in the SNAP application form. However, they need to fill the PI-shortlist form separately for whichever colleges they get shortlisted.

Between SNAP and NMAT, the former is considered easier in terms of difficulty level of the questions. However, SNAP is of 60 minutes in which candidates have to address 60 question. This makes SNAP more challenging than NMAT which is a test of longer duration (2 hours having 108 questions).

Usually it is recommended that Arun Sharma series (Verbal, Quant, DI), R.S. Aggarwal's Reasoning/Quant books, and Word Power Made Easy, are enough for SNAP preparation. Sample questions papers, mock tests, sectional test series are also important.

SNAP total marks is 60 so 40 to 45 marks can be considered a good score. It will convert into about 97-98 percentile. So, it the exam, candidates must aim to attempt 40 to 45 questions correctly.

Two months may not be enough to prepare for SNAP exam, if you are attempting it for the first time. However, you can try with a very specific and focussed plan. Check SNAP question papers of previous years to know dominant subjects. Study only those thoroughly and practice mock tests side by side.
