Are Original Documents Required for AYUSH Counselling 2026?

Yes. In Ayush Counselling Candidates must carry original documents at the time of physical reporting. Colleges do not accept admission without them. AACCC does not allow candidates to submit a certificate stating that their originals are deposited with another institute. Coloured photocopies are also not accepted in place of originals. The allotted college keeps the original documents after admission. Colleges return these documents only after a candidate upgrades to another round or withdraws the seat. Candidates with a spelling mismatch between their certificates and the AACCC application should carry a notarised affidavit. This affidavit should confirm that all documents belong to the same person.

AYUSH Counselling 2026: Common Mistakes to Avoid for Document Verification

Small errors during document verification can cost candidates their allotted seat. Here are common mistakes candidates should avoid.

  • Carrying only photocopies and not the original documents

  • Category certificates issued before the prescribed cut-off date

  • Certificates in a regional language without a Hindi or English translation

  • Spelling mismatch between certificates and the AACCC application, without a supporting affidavit

  • Missing Class 10 or Class 12 marksheets alongside the pass certificates

  • Reaching the college after the reporting deadline

  • Incomplete or wrong-format category certificates for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, GEN-EWS or PwBD candidates

Candidates should prepare this checklist well in advance. This avoids last-minute stress once the seat allotment result is out.
