The FMGE June session exam for 2024 was held on July 6, 2024, in two shifts at 71 exam centres in 50 test cities in India. Since the exam was conducted in online mode hence by taking input from the students the FMGE 2024 answer key, question paper analysis, good attempts, and qualifying marks are updated below on this page. 

According to the students who appeared in the exam, it can be categorised as "Moderate". Since there was no negative marking, applicants who attempted questions with maximum accuracy are likely qualified.

FMGE 2024 Question Paper Analysis

Exam Difficulty Level
Anatomy: The questions were mainly straightforward. It focused on important concepts and structures. 
Physiology: The level of questions was moderate. Students who had a good knowledge of physiological mechanisms found it easy. 
Biochemistry: This section was comparatively easy. Students could score well in this section compared to others. 
Pathology: The questions were well-balanced, with an emphasis on disease mechanisms and diagnostic criteria. Candidates with a strong foundation in pathology found this section easier.

The authorities will release FMGE result on August 6, 2024. All students whose names are in list will be declared qualified.

The FMGE cutoff is released once the FMGE results are released. Once the FMGE cutoff is out, those who beat the cutoff list will be called for the counselling process. Students must score a minimum of 150 out of 300 to be able to beat the cutoff.

The FMGE exam has 300 MCQs worth 300 marks. Each correct answer gives 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. The exam is divided into two sections, Part A and Part B; each section is of 2 and a half hours. To pass, one must score 150 out of 300.

There is currently no limit on total number of attempts for FMGE. You can appear for as many sessions as needed. Very soon, National Exit Test (NExT) will replace FMGE exam. It may introduce new regulations regarding attempt limits once implemented. As of now, no limit for re-attempts.

Candidates must bring the following documents to the test center to be allowed entry. Digital copies on mobile phones are strictly not accepted.

FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) 2026 is a compulsory licensing test conducted by the NBEMS. It is for Indian/OCI citizens who obtained their medical degree (MBBS) from outside India. Passing this 300-mark screening test is mandatory to practice medicine in India.
