The Rajasthan NEET counselling merit list 2025 was released by the counselling authorities on August 10, 2025, based on the registrations received in the reopened window, from August 7 to August 9, 2025. As many as 14,452 candidates have been included in the merit list. Candidates belonging to PwD, Defence/Para Military, and NRI quotas or categories had to visit the Board at the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, for document and physical verification. After this, the revised merit list was released on August 12, 2025.

Eligible candidates willing to participate in the Rajasthan NEET UG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfils the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats. The factors which are considered for the seat allotment are the cutoff and availability of seats.
All the non-government institutions have management quota seats. A few colleges with management quota seats are Geetanjali Medical College, Jaipur National University, NIMS, Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, and Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences.

Originally, the provisional merit list of Rajasthan NEET counselling 2025 was released on August 3, 2025. A total of 13,731 candidates were included in the merit list of Rajasthan NEET counselling 2025, based on the registrations received for Rajasthan NEET counselling between July 28 and August 2, 2025.
Announcing the revision of the Rajasthan NEET 2025 counselling Round 1 dates, the authorities have stated, “In compliance to the revised schedule for Round 1 of AIQ Counselling for NEET UG 2025, released by MCC, the scheduled for Round 1 of NEET UG Medical /Dental Counselling 2025 for State of Rajasthan is being rescheduled.”

What is Rajasthan NEET Merit List 2025?
The Rajasthan NEET merit list 2025 is a document enlisting the eligible candidates for participating in the state counselling process. The merit list is prepared based on the following factors:
- Candidate’s NEET 2025 score (must be above the cutoff marks)
- Fulfilling other eligibility criteria
- Document verification to establish category or quota claim
SMS Medical College Jaipur also releases category-wise Rajasthan NEET merit list. The merit list is released in online mode only, in PDF format. After the provisional merit list is released and candidates go through it, they can submit challenges or objections. In case of any changes, the counselling authorities will release a revised merit list.

Information Carried on Rajasthan NEET 2025 Counselling Merit List
The counselling authorities release the seat matrix for Rajasthan NEET UG counselling before each round. For Round 1 counselling, the seat matrix was released on August 1, 2025. For Round 2, the Rajasthan NEET 2025 counselling seat matrix was released on September 16, 2025. Separate seat matrix is released for MBBS and BDS courses. The seat matrix is released a day before the commencement of the choice filling process. Based on the course-wise seat availability, candidates will have to fill and lock the choices.
Rajasthan NEET 2025 counselling Round 1 was held from September 6 to September 30, 2025. Round-2 seat allotment result was announced on September 25, 2025. Round 3 was held from October 29 to November 8, 2025. Round 4 was conducted from November 12 to November 20, 2025.
There are four to five rounds of Rajasthan NEET UG counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions. The number of rounds depend on the vacant seats. There is also a possibility that the MCC or state counselling authority may conduct separate round for MBBS or BDS, if seats are left vacant.

Rajasthan NEET 2025 Counselling Process
The counselling process for Rajasthan NEET UG 2025 counselling will be completely online, except for the physical verification after the registration, and the last stage, which involves the institute reporting and document verification. There will be approximately five to six rounds of counselling.
Only those candidates who will qualify for the NEET exam by scoring the NEET cutoff marks will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for the Rajasthan NEET UG 2025.
According to the NEET result statistics, the total number of registered and appearing candidates in Rajasthan for NEET 2025 was 1,80,637 and 1,76,181, respectively. As many as 1,19,865 candidates have qualified from the state. The NEET 2025 topper, Mahesh Kumar, is from Rajasthan, and as many as 13 toppers in the top 100 merit list belong to Rajasthan.

Yes, candidates belonging to other states apart from Rajasthan are also eligible to participate in the Rajasthan NEET UG counselling process. However, while filling the registration form for Rajasthan NEET UG counselling, they must not select the Rajasthan domicile category. Only those belonging to this state should select the state domicile category. Rest of the candidates may select the NRI category or other than the Rajasthan state category and provide the documents accordingly.
