Since the NEET scorecards are released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, in an online mode, it can be accessed and downloaded anytime by the test-takers. Once the NEET result is declared, candidates will have to download the NEET scorecard by logging in with their registration credentials and take multiple printouts. They are also advised to save the NEET scorecard PDF softcopy in their computer systems or mobile phones for easy access. In case they lose the hardcopy or even the softcopy of the NEET scorecard, they can visit the NEET website, click on the Download NEET-UG Scorecard tab from the latest News section and download it by entering the NEET application number, date of birth and security pin. The validity of the NEET scorecard is one year. Hence, candidates will be able to download the NEET scorecard PDF as many times they wish to within this period.
The National Testing Agency announced the NEET 2025 result on June 14, 2025. The NEET 2025 final answer key was released on the same date. Last year, the date of NEET result declaration was June 14, but the result was announced 10 days in advance, on June 4, 2024.
NTA has stated that the total number of registered candidates for NEET was 22,76,609, out of which 22,09,318 candidates appeared and 12,36,531 candidates qualified for the exam. The highest marks obtained in the exam is 686 out of 720, which has been obtained by Rajasthan’s Mahesh Kumar. Notably, Mahesh Kumar studied in Hindi medium, but that did not deter him from bagging AIR 1.

The NEET result is declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA), in an online mode. Once the NEET result is declared, candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download their scorecards.

3. Enter the NEET application number and date of birth or password
4. Enter the security pin
5. Download the NEET scorecard PDF document
6. Take multiple printouts
After checking the scores, percentile and rank of NEET, candidates must preserve the NEET scorecard PDF properly till the admission or the counselling rounds are over. This is one of the most crucial documents which is verified by the counselling authorities.

While the number of candidates has reduced in the majority of states, a few states and union territories have increased, including Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Nagaland.
The NEET counselling process is expected to begin soon for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats, followed by 85 per cent State Quota seats. The NEET counselling is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and BVSc & AH programmes.
