As MMS is a postgraduate course, there are several specialisations offered in the second year of the program. Students can opt for their preferred specialisation from amongst Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and so on.

Entrance Exams for MMS

Entry to MMS is based on common entrance exam score, personal interview and group discussion. To pursue MMS, candidates have to clear the relevant MBA entrance exam. Candidates are chosen for personal interviews and group discussions based on their minimal score criterion. Candidates who pass the personal interview and group discussion are offered admission.

The MMS entrance exams include CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, MAH CET, and NMAT by GMAC. All  these exams are the entrance exams for MBA admission and include Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability.

MMS Syllabus for Distance Program

The MMS distance programs are appropriate for those who desire to expand their understanding of business management topics and further their careers in the business sector.

The curriculum for both, full-time courses and distance learning is the same. However, the syllabus may vary as per the specialisation chosen by the student. The average fee for full-time MMS program is INR 3 to 4 lakh (government institutes) while that of distance programs is under INR 2 lakh (government institutes) for most colleges.
