It is equivalent to an MBA degree and prepares students for careers in business management and entrepreneurship across industries.   • MMS Course Duration

The MMS course has a duration of two years divided into four semesters. It is a postgraduate program that focuses on developing management skills.

  • MMS Specialisations

As MMS is a postgraduate course, there are several specialisations offered in the second year of the program. Students can opt for their preferred specialisation from amongst Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and so on.

  • MMS Syllabus and Curriculum

Majority of the MMS program includes coursework with core and elective subjects. However, students must also undergo internships during the program in the final year to receive the necessary credits for course completion.

Operations Research

This subject seeks to familiarise students with quantitative resources and procedures that are commonly used in corporate decision-making, as well as to give a systematic quantitative perspective to problem solving.

Macroeconomic Analysis

The subject's goal is to teach students how to identify the causes of different macroeconomic variables like production, unemployment, pricing, and efficiency, as well as the key issues associated with measuring these aggregates.

Corporate Finance

The subject introduces methods that create a framework for logical judgement. The purpose of this subject is to build analytical abilities as well as to demonstrate the direct implementation of economic theory and research.

Marketing Applications and Practices

The focus of this application-oriented subject is to teach students advanced advertising & distribution theory and practise, as well as to acquire knowledge and skill for efficient market strategy and execution.

Supply Chain and Logistics Management

International Human Resource Management

Operations and Supply Chain Strategies

The subject covers the notion of strategic planning and its different elements, as well as how they connect to the firm's general business plan. Entrance Exams for MMS

Entry to MMS is based on common entrance exam score, personal interview and group discussion. To pursue MMS, candidates have to clear the relevant MBA entrance exam. Candidates are chosen for personal interviews and group discussions based on their minimal score criterion. Candidates who pass the personal interview and group discussion are offered admission.

The MMS entrance exams include CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, MAH CET, and NMAT by GMAC. All  these exams are the entrance exams for MBA admission and include Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability.

MMS Syllabus for Distance Program

The MMS distance programs are appropriate for those who desire to expand their understanding of business management topics and further their careers in the business sector.

The curriculum for both, full-time courses and distance learning is the same. However, the syllabus may vary as per the specialisation chosen by the student. The average fee for full-time MMS program is INR 3 to 4 lakh (government institutes) while that of distance programs is under INR 2 lakh (government institutes) for most colleges.
