MBA in Finance is one of the most popular specializations. The subjects included in this course pertain to the study of planning, management, and optimisation of the financial resources of the company. This is a two-year programme that allows students to learn managerial and administrative skills that helps them in shaping their careers. After pursuing an MBA in Finance, the pass-outs can imply the learned skills in the working industry and they can work in the top managerial positions in the financial sector. 

Since MBA in Finance subjects are specific to the field, they require prior exposure to accounting, finance, banking, taxation, etc. Candidates who have studied Commerce in HSc and graduated are most likely to opt for an MBA in Finance, as they are already familiar with this area. Those not having a commerce background can still opt for this specialization but they might need to work extra on the MBA in Finance subjects to fare well.

The whole MBA Finance program is divided into four semesters and includes subjects like microeconomics, Joy of Management, Business Statistics, Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Finance, Credit Analysis, and Wealth Management. There are over 8,000 Management Colleges in India, which offer different specializations. The aspirants can choose the stream in which they want to specialize and prepare well to get a good score in the entrance examinations.
