The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay officially announced the results of the Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2025 on March 5, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their results through the official CEED website (ceed.iitb.ac.in).
The CEED 2025 exam, held on January 19, 2025, across 24 cities in India, witnessed participation from thousands of design aspirants. The examination tested candidates on their creativity, design aptitude, visualization skills, and problem-solving abilities.
How to Check CEED 2025 Results
Candidates can follow these steps to download their results:
- Visit the official CEED website
- Click on the “Candidate Portal” link.
- Log in using your registered email ID and password.
- Navigate to the “Results” section and download your CEED 2025 scorecard.
The CEED 2025 scorecards will be available for download from March 10, 2025, and can be accessed until June 11, 2025.

As the results go live, the name of the CEED 2025 topper and the complete rank list will soon be published on the official website.
What’s Next for Qualified Candidates?
Candidates who have cleared CEED 2025 can now prepare for the admission process into prestigious Master of Design (M.Des) programs offered by top institutes such as IIT Bombay, IISc Bangalore, IIT Delhi, and more. The next steps include institute-specific applications, portfolio submissions, interviews, and design tests.

CEED 2026 result will be announced online on the official website of the exam - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The results will be declared on March 04, 2025.
The participating institutes of CEED 2025 will offer admission to the M.Des courses based on CEED 2025 scores only. They will not accept scores of other entrance exams for admission process. Also, IIT Bombay will conduct a Joint Seat Allotment Process or Counseling for the participating institutes.
On the other hand, result-sharing institutes will not participate in the Joint Seat Allotment Process. Instead, these institutes will conduct counseling at an institute-level. This means, the candidate has to apply directly to these institutes based on their CEED 2025 scores. Another thing is result-sharing institutes will allocate only a fraction of the seats for CEED 2025 qualified candidates. The remaining seats will be filled by considering scores of other entrance exams.
