Delhi CET 2026: The Department of Training and Technical Education conducts the Delhi CET exam for polytechnic courses in Delhi. Candidates who wish to appear for the Delhi CET exam have to apply on the website, tte.delhi.gov.in. The CET Delhi 2026 application form will be available in June 2026 (tentatively). Candidates have to complete the registration, fill the form, upload documents and finally, pay the fee, all before the last date.

The admit card will be issued only to the registered candidates. The admit card needs to be carried by the candidates while appearing in the exam. The exam date of Delhi CET 2026 will probably be in July 2026. Candidates can prepare for the exam by checking the CET Delhi exam syllabus.

Delhi CET Eligibility Criteria 2026

Department of Training and Technical Education releases the CET Delhi eligibility criteria. It is important to check the Delhi CET eligibility before fill the application form online. There are three different tests under CET for admission to different courses. The eligibility conditions for each course is different. Only Indian/sponsored candidates will be eligible for admission. The CET Delhi eligibility criteria for each test is given below.

  • Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
  • Mathematics, Science and English should be compulsory subjects in class 10.

Pharmacy (12th based)

Pharmacy or one-year certificate course: Software Testing Assistant in WCSC

Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST Category) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.

Lateral entry of ITI/ 10+2(Vocational Stream) passouts for admission to the 3rd semester in analogous Diploma courses

Lateral Entry

Candidates should have cleared analogues 12th Vocational Engineering stream from CBSE or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Or

Candidates should have passed Class 10 or equivalent along with two years of ITI (Engineering) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

The Department of Training and Technical Education will release the CET Delhi 2026 application form online at tte.delhi.gov.in. Polytechnic admission in Delhi is based on the CET Delhi exam. To appear for the exam, candidates have to will have to complete registration, filling form, uploading documents and payment of fees. Candidates are advised to keep all the documents ready before filling the CET Delhi application form. The authority will announce the Delhi CET 2026 registration dates online.

Delhi CET Exam Pattern 2026

The Department of Training and Technical Education will release the CET Delhi exam pattern. Applicants appearing in the exam must refer to the Delhi CET 2026 exam pattern before starting their preparation to understand the format of the exam. The Delhi CET exam will be conducted 90 minutes in offline pen and paper mode. Students will get four marks for every correct answer while one mark will be deducted for any incorrect answers. CET Delhi 2026 Syllabus

The CET Delhi 2026 syllabus will be available in the notification. Aspirants of the test must check the syllabus for CET Delhi 2026 to know what topics should be studied. Delhi CET Admit Card 2026

The authority will issue the Delhi CET admit card to all the registered candidates. Students will have to download the CET Delhi 2026 admit card from the website, tte.delhi.gov.in. To download admit card, applicants will need their application number and password. Candidates have to carry their CET Delhi admit card 2026 along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. It will provide details on the exam date and time, exam centre address, roll number, guidelines and more.

Delhi CET Result 2026

Candidates who appear for the exam will be able to download the Delhi CET result online. The result of Delhi CET 2026 will be released in the form of a rank card. Candidates will require their login ID and password to check the same. The scorecard will comprise the candidate's details, marks obtained and the rank secured. Admission to polytechnic courses in Delhi will be done through the Delhi CET counselling based on the CET Delhi results. Candidates declared qualified in the Delhi CET result will be eligible to appear in the counselling process.

Delhi CET Reservation Criteria

The Department of Training and Technical Education specifies the reservation criteria for CET Delhi through the official notification. The DTTE follows the central government reservation policy for admission to various Polytechnic courses through CET Delhi. The category-wise reservation criteria are given in the table below:

There is a category-wise maximum age limit for CET Delhi. For general boys the age limit is 21 and for girls it is 24. For OBC boys it is 24 and for girls it is 27. For SC/ST/PWD boys it is 26 and for girls is 29.

Directorate of Training and Technical Education (DTTE) conducts the CET Delhi as a state-level exam for Diploma admission to courses such as Engineering, Tech, Pharmacy, etc. at polytechnics across Delhi.
