The ICAR AICE Final and Mop-up rounds started on November 14, 2025, for fresh choice filling, display of the vacancy matrix, and payment of the counselling fee. November 19, 2025, was the end date for all students to submit the seat acceptance fee. The counselling mop round date was November 21, 2025, till 5 PM. The last date for choice filling was November 16, 2025. Students need to go to the portal of NTA to download their seat allotment letter.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts the All India Competitive Examination (AICE) in order to offer candidates admission in Doctoral Degree Programmes (PhD) and an award for JRF/SRF (PGS). ICAR AICE JRF/SRF Result 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) had released the ICAR AICE JRF 2025 Answer Key on the official website on July 18, 2025. And the results were declared on August 12, 2025 on the official website.

The ICAR AICE JRF/SRF results released online on the official website of ICAR AICE NTA. Students will have to log in to check the results. The results contain the candidate’s marks secured and percentage. The overall Merit/Rank List has been prepared by ICAR separately for every major Subject. Online Registration of candidates who have qualified for the ICAR JRF exam can now register online for the counselling process. The ICAR AIECE JRF/SRF 2025 counselling process has been conducted in online mode. The process commenced with the release of the rank card and counselling letter on the official website of ICAR, icar.org.in. ICAR AICE JRF/SRF 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Indian nationals who have passed Master’s Degree programme with a minimum of Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) from any public-funded/Govt. the institution will be eligible. In other cases, where grade points are not awarded and only marks are awarded, the candidate must have secured a minimum per cent score as shown in the table below:

Candidates who passed out from private universities which are not accredited by ICAR, are not eligible for the examinations. Students who have studied from private universities accredited by ICAR are eligible.
The candidate must complete the postgraduate degree in all respects and should have all the degree-completion requirements at the time of Counseling/admission in the university failing which they will not be considered for admission and the award of the fellowship.
Education Qualification – The candidate should have done their postgraduate programme with a minimum Overal Grade Pont Average (OGPA) from any university which is accredited by ICAR.
Age Criteria: The candidate should be 20 years old minimum to apply.

Q: What is ICAR AICE JRF/SRF Percentile score and normalization procedure?

If the AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) is conducted in more than one Session Shifts, the following procedure will be followed in ensuring equivalency in the difficulty level : -
(i) Raw marks obtained by the candidates in different shifts/sessions will be converted to NTA Score (percentile).

(ii) In case a subject test is conducted in multi-shifts, NTA Score will be calculated corresponding to the raw marks obtained by a candidate. The calculated NTA Score for the Raw Marks for all the shifts/sessions will be merged for further processing for
deciding the allocation.

(iii) In the events of the percentilesforthe multi-shifts being dissimilar/ unequal, the lowest will be the eligibility cut-off for that category for all candidates (i.e. all shifts). For Example: In an the examination held in two shifts, if the 40% marks correspond to a
Percentile score of 78 in Shift 1 and 79 in Shift 2, then all those equal to or above 78 percentiles (Percentile score of 100 to 78) in both shifts will become eligible in General Category. Similar method will be adopted for the other categories to determine
eligibility cut-offs. In case the examination is held in more number of shifts the same principle shall apply.
