No class 12 qualifications is needed for most Nursing courses and many other subjects. Physics, Chemistry and Biology are must to be eligible for courses.

Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) is a one-year Diploma course in basic health care and midwifery nursing and concerns study of provision of basic health care, maternal care, and midwifery skills. This is an undergraduate level course for applicants who have passed their Class 10 and are now looking forward to a career in nursing. ANM graduates primarily work in primary health care settings, assisting a registered nurse with providing essential nursing care.
