The UP CNET admit card 2026 will be issued by the exam conducting body, Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Uttar Pradesh (ABVMU, UP), at the official website. This year, the UP CNET hall ticket will be released in May 2026. The UP CNET nursing admit card will be available for download after providing the details of Registered ID Number & Login Password at the admission portal.

The UP CNET 2026 exam is expected to be organised in the last week of May. The exam will be conducted in the morning shift from 11:00 AM to 1:20 PM. Candidates will have to reach the venue as mentioned on the ABVMU CNET admit card 2026 to appear for the UG-level nursing entrance exam. Candidates are advised to carry a coloured printout of the UP CNET 2026 admit card to the test centre.

How to download UP CNET Nursing Admit Card 2026

The UP CNET admit card 2026 will be issued on the official website, abvmuup.edu.in. Candidates will have to download it in PDF format from the official admission portal. The CNET hall ticket requires the aspirant to provide their Registered ID and Password so that they can login in their account. Once the admit card is visible on the screen, carefully check for the details printed on it.

Q:   Who can appear for the UP CNET exam?
A: 

Candidates with minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025 can apply for the nursing entrance exam. It is mandatory to have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together. English must be a mandatory subject in Class 12. 45 per cent aggregate marks in PCB for general category candidates, and 40% marks in PCB for reserved category candidates are mandatory.

The UP CNET exam is conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), UP, Lucknow for admission to the BSc nursing programme. The UP CNET entrance exam has been instituted for candidates aiming to pursue nursing course in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is an offline (Pen & Paper Mode) exam which is held once a year.

UP CNET Hall Ticket Instructions to Follow

Candidates are advised to read the following instructions related to the UP CNET 2026 admit card:

  1. Please note that the UP CNET nursing admit card will not be sent by post to any candidate. It is an offline exam.
  2. Candidate must appear for the Examination at the allotted Centre on the Date and Time allotted in their Admit Card.
  3. Any digital format (on the mobile) of the Admit Card will not be accepted at the examination Centre (present the admit card in hard copy format).
  4. Do not tamper with the Admit Card or change any entry made on it.
  5. Candidates are advised to preserve the BSc nursing UP CNET admit card 2026 in good condition for future reference. It will be required at the time of counselling as well.

The CNET admit card will be released around 10 days before the exam date. It will be released in online mode in PDF format. Candidates are advised to keep it safe till the counselling process.

If you happen to forget your CNET portal details, click on the “Forgot Registered ID Number & Password” tab on the login screen. There, another window will appear asking for the registered Mobile number. Once you input the Mobile number, you will be able to retrieve and download the hall ticket.

UP CNET Test Centre Instructions - Do's and Dont's

Here is the list of items that are not allowed at the UP CNET test centre 2025. Therefore, candidates must refrain from carrying these items:

  1. Any item like textual material (printed or written)
  2. Communication devices like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Health Band
  3. Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  4. Any Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera etc.
  5. Any ornaments/metallic items.
  6. Any food items opened or packed, water bottle etc.
  7. Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc.

Q:   What is the CNET exam marking scheme?
A: 

The UP CNET making scheme says that a '+1' mark will be awarded to candidates for choosing the correct answer. There is NO negative marking in the exam. Candidates are advised to attempt all the questions without having to worry about the implications of negative marking in the entrance.  

Q:   Is UP CNET exam difficult to appear for?
A: 

The exam difficulty level depends on the preparation of the candidate. On a general note, most of the aspirants in the past who appeared for the exam have rated UP CNET as an exam of 'Medium' level. The question paper is primarily curated from the Class 12th syllabus of the physics, chemistry, and biology sections.

Exam pattern of UP CNET 2026 will be released along with official brochure. As per existing exam pattern, exam will be held in offline mode. A total of 120 questions will be there in exam and students will be given 140 minutes to answer them.
