How to Apply for UP CNET 2026?
The UP CNET application form will be accepted online only at portal of university only. The candidates will be required to provide the following:
- Valid and registered personal email ID
- Mobile number
Initially, applicants will have to create his/her Unique Registration number by providing their personal details. The mobile number and email ID will be verified using the OTP. Once logged in, it is mandatory to change the default password. Without changing the default password, one cannot proceed further.

Stage 1: Personal Information
Details such as First Name (As per Class 10th Certificate/Marksheet), Middle & Last Name, Father’s & Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Email Address, Mobile Number & Alternate Mobile Number, WhatsApp Number, Category would be required to fill the form
Stage 2: Address
Residential details, such as Address, State, City, and Pin Code, are mandatory to be filled.
Stage 3: Educational Qualifications & Centre City Preferences
For the test centre, the applicant will have to provide his/her preference for the test centre city. A total of 3 cities can be selected. The decision to allocate the centre rests in the hands of the exam conducting authority.
Stage 4: Photo, Signature, and Verification Sheet
Candidate must upload scanned image of his/her passport photo, signature, and a scanned copy of a filled verification sheet as per the specifications mentioned.
Stage 5: Live Photo Uploading
The candidate will have to use the Webcam on a Computer/Laptop or the camera of a mobile phone. Once the live photograph is satisfactorily captured, click on the “Upload Live Photograph” button.
After completing all the above process, download the final submitted application form by clicking on the Print Button after the successful submission of the application fee.

Nationality Requirement
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
Age Criteria
A candidate must have attained a minimum age of 17 Years. The maximum age of a candidate to apply for the entrance exam is 35 Years. Age Relaxation will only be applicable for Reserved Categories as per Government Norms.
UP CNET Education Qualification Criteria
- The candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken together, and passed English individually, from a recognized board
- For SC/ST/OBC Category, the 40% aggregate will be acceptable
- English should be a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in BSc Nursing.
- For admission to Government Nursing colleges, the candidate must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh

UP CNET 2026 registration dates have not been released yet. However, last year the registration deadline was extended from April 26 to May 3. The conducting body, ABVMU, will inform the candidates regarding such changes through a notification, which will be published on the official website.
Candidate not more than 35 years of age can apply for the UP CNET exam. The minimum age to appear for the CNET nursing exam is 17 years. Age is an important criterion. Candidates must adhere to it while filling the application form. Candidates not fulfilling this criterion but having qualified the exam will not be given admission to the CNET participating institutes.
Yes, English is a compulsory subject in class 12th to apply for the UP CNET exam. Candidates must also have passed physics, chemistry, and biology with 50 per cent overall aggregate in class 12th to be eligible to apply for the nursing entrance exam. Reserved category candidates must have scored 45 per cent marks to be eligible for appearing in the entrance exam.
UP CNET Application Fee 2026
The UP CNET application fee must be paid online through the admission portal at abvmuup.edu.in. There is no provision to make the payment offline. After filling the online application form, candidates will be directed to the payment gateway, where the fee payment must be made to make sure that the registration process has been completed.
