After completing the CDS exam every candidate must know the next steps. The complete understanding of the SSB interview is crucial for every candidate appearing for this round.
Most of the candidates who have appeared for CDS exam often doubt what should they do after completion of the written examination?? In this article, I will explain the next steps for ta candidate after the CDS written examination.
After completion of the written exam, the candidates wait for their results. After the written exam, there is another round of Interview. So, while waiting for the results, candidates should prepare for the second round. In case, the candidate is not confident about their result or is expecting low scores. Those candidates must start preparing for the next CDS exam. They could re-attempt the examination and could start their preparation again without delay, refer right books for their preparation, take guidance from seniors, faculty, friends, family and so on.
Firstly, students should wait for the results. In CDS, qualifying the interview is tough as compared to the written examination. This interview continues for five days. To prepare for this round, take mock interviews daily to clear the examination. Keep up-to-date with the current affairs, issues, updates, etc. Read English newspaper every day and also watch videos related to SSB. Take guidance from your seniors, friends, and relatives if any of them have faced the interview in the past.
After preparing for SSB, revise all the topics and give as many mock interviews as you can, if possible go to the institute, give mock interview and ask the faculty to explain the important points of the mock interview. While taking the mock interview, create the atmosphere as in the real interview. This would help in releasing the tension, stress, fear of interview, etc. The SSB interview is conducted all over India by the selection board. The three selection centres are as follows:
- Selection Centre East, Allahabad
- Selection Centre South, Bengaluru
- Selection Centre East, Bhopal
The Indian Army has four selection centres in the following cities
- Allahabad
- Bhopal

The Indian Navy has three selection centres in the following cities
- Coimbatore
- BengaluruBhopal
The Indian Air Force has 4 selection centres in the following cities
- Dehradun
- Mysore
- Gandhi Nagar
- Varanasi
Before going to SSB get yourself medically examined. Do not forget the important things like documents, etc. Moreover, follow the instructions given in the call letter for SSB interview.
The SSB interview procedure consists of five steps. SSB interview takes place for around five days. The details are:
- Day 0 ( Day of Reporting at your SSB centres, document verification)
