SBI PO Shift 1 Exam Analysis 2025 (March 8)
It is not necessary to secure 60 per cent in graduation inorder to be eligible for SBI PO exam. For the SBI PO eligibility percentage, candidates with less than 60% in their graduation are also eligible to take the SBI PO exam. The State Bank of India prescribes no minimum percentage in Graduation for the SBI Probationary Officer (PO) exam. Candidates must be graduates of any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination.
There are no sectional cut off in SBI PO prelims and mains exams. Candidates are only required to secure the overall cut off in the exam. Only those candidates are considered for the next round who secures the cut off marks. The cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process.
SBI PO Mains cut off 2023 was released for objective and descriptive tests. The cut off was calculated out of 250 marks. The cut off marks is given below.

Shammi Singh said, "The English section was doable. The Reasoning section was also doable, but there were no syllogism questions. The section carried maximum questions from Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Blood Relations, Word Formation, etc. In Maths, there were questions from wrong number series, DI, Arithmetic. There were no Approximation questions in Maths."
Deepak Kumar said, "In Maths, there were four DIs (Pie-Chart, ratio-based, table chart, etc), two wrong number series. There were no simplification questions. In Reasoning, puzzle questions were floor based, circular based. The RC topic was based on food changes in India."
Pooja said, "This is my second attempt for SBI PO exam. The English section was easy and doable. The Quant section was lengthy and difficult. The Reasoning section in terms of difficulty was average."
