Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are conducting RRB NTPC CBT 1 2025 exam. The overall difficulty level of the paper was Moderate. According to Shiksha Polls, students found the General Awareness section to be the toughest compared to other sections. The subjects included in the CBT 1 exam are General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the RRB NTPC CBT 1 2025 are 100.
RRB NTPC exam is being conducted to fill up vacancies for Non-Technical Popular Categories posts. A total of 11558 vacancies were announced for the exam. A total of 12,167,679 applications were received for the RRB NTPC exam. Out of this, 5,840,861 are for graduate-level posts and 6,326,818 are for 12th level posts. As per Shiksha Polls, 29 per cent candidates voted that the General Awareness section was the toughest. 23 per cent candidates have voted that the Numerical Ability and Reasoning sections were tough. RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern 2025
The CBT 1 exam of RRB NTPC comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The test paper carries 100 questions. The exam is held for 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates accompanied by scribe). RRB NTPC exam pattern is given below.
RRB NTPC UG city intimation slip 2025 is available now. RRB NTPC CBT 1 city intimation slip 2025 for graduate posts was released from May 26, 2025. The city intimation slip is released so that candidates can make travel arrangements inorder to reach the exam centre. Candidates can check the city intimation slip by logging with the required credentials. The city intimation slip is not the admit card and it does not carry the details related to the exam centre. The details related to the exam centre is released along with the admit card.
Following are the items banned inside RRB NTPC exam centre:
- Banned items are electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, pager, watches, Bluetooth, calculator, metallic wears, bangles, belts, bracelets, books, papers, etc. are not allowed inside the exam centre
- Candidates should not carry pen/pencil inside the test centre
- Pen will be provide during the exam
- Candidates should not apply henna/Mehendi because there will be biometric capture
