CTET 2019 Exam Analysis & Reviews by Students for Paper-II

CBSE conducted the CTET paper-II 2019 in the second shift today. Check out the section-wise difficulty level and pattern of paper-II below.

CTET 2019 paper-II was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the second shift from 2:00-4:30 PM today, December 8. In CTET paper-II question paper, there were 150 objective questions that were divided into four sections (mentioned in the table below). In the fourth section, candidates had the choice of attempting either Mathematics and Science questions, Social Studies/Social Science questions or all Mathematics, Science and Social Studies/Social Science questions. The exam was of total 150 marks and candidates had to complete the paper in 150 minutes duration.

CTET 2019 Paper-II Exam Analysis by Students

Shiksha reported live from Bal Bharati Public School, Noida where about 600 students appeared for CTET paper-II. Majority of the students that Shiksha spoke to shared that paper-II of CTET 2019 exam was of easy to moderate difficulty level and the questions in the exam were a bit tricky. Deepika: As compared to last year’s paper, this year’s CTET exam was better and easier. However, questions from Social Science subject were a bit tough. Any candidate who has experience in teaching and is good in general knowledge can solve the paper easily. The questions were tricky and required candidates to apply some logical thinking. However, there were some questions in the exam, which according to me were incorrect. Overall, it was a good paper.

Vasundra: The difficulty level of CTET paper-II 2019 was moderate. Since my subject was Social Science, I found the Child Pedagogy section very easy. In languages section, I found Hindi a bit tough as these days we are more tilted towards English. The paper was lengthy for those who had not studied well for the exam. Otherwise, I did not find the paper very lengthy.

Anjali: As compared to previous years’ CTET papers, I found this year’s exam easier. However, this exam is never tough for candidates who have prepared well or have attempted previous years’ question papers. The English section was a bit lengthy but I could manage my time well in the exam. Talking about the section-wise difficulty level of the paper, Child Development & Pedagogy section was a bit tricky and I could find more than one option correct for some questions. Questions from Hindi and English languages were easy. Questions from Maths and Science subjects were also easy.

Mini: I found CTET 2019 paper-II easier as compared to previous year’s exam. However, for me the Child Development & Pedagogy section was a little tough. Among languages, questions from both Hindi and English subjects were easy. Questions from Social Science subject were a bit more difficult than the previous year’s paper. I found the paper lengthy mainly due to reading comprehensions in Hindi section. But I could finish my paper on time.

Rani: I found the difficulty level of paper-II the same as previous years, which was easy. Child Development & Pedagogy section was easy. Questions from Maths were tough and those from languages were a bit tricky. There were no changes in the pattern of the exam.

Sunil: The paper-II was easier as compared to last year’s exam. The section that I found lengthy in the exam was Social Studies. The options for answers in Social Studies section were long. So, it took a lot of time in reading, comprehending and then answering the questions in this section. Apart from that, Child Psychology and English sections were easy. But questions from Hindi language were tough. Overall, the paper was easy.

Sandhya: This was my first attempt at CTET exam and it went good. The section of Child Development was a bit lengthy. Rest all other sections - Maths, Science, Hindi and English were easy.

Pooja: My CTET exam went well. But I found Mathematical questions hard in the exam. The sections of Child Psychology and Hindi were easy. However, I found the English section little lengthy. I could complete my exam on time but left few questions in the section of Maths. There were no changes in the CTET paper pattern.

Aashi: My paper went good. I have solved previous years’ CTET question papers and found this year’s paper of the same difficulty level. The paper had a mix of difficult, moderate and easy questions.

Saroj: This year’s CTET paper was easy. There were many questions from Child Development & Pedagogy section. I found almost all the questions in the exam easy.

Vrishni: This year’s CTET paper was much easier as compared to the last one. The Mathematical part of the exam was also easier as compared to previous year’s paper.
