The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET City Intimation Slip 2026 for the re-exam that will be conducted on September 9 and 10 for three subjects namely English, Commerce and Sociology. The advance city intimation slip inform candidates in advance about the exam city so that candidates can make the travel arrangements accordingly. The candidates must not mistake the city intimations slip with the admit card for the June session re-exam. The hall ticket will comprise the details of the NTA UGC NET exam centres. The methods to download the hall ticket are given below;

What to Do In Case of Discrepancy in UGC NET Admit Card?
In case, a candidate is not able to download his/her admit card or there is any discrepancy in the particulars given on the admit card, s/he should call the following helpline number of the NTA - 011-40759000. Candidates can call on these numbers on working days from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
In case of any error on the UGC NET admit card, the official website of the exam informs, “In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.”

Yes. The NTA is conducting the re-exam for three subjects on September 9 and 10. The UGC NET re-exam schedule is provided below:
English: September 9, 2026 Shift 1 - 9 AM to 12 Noon
Commerce : September 9, 2026 Shift 2 - 3 PM to 6 PM
