The COVID-19 impact on the UPSC IAS exam and state PCS exams. See here in detail
The second wave of COVID-19 affected all sectors of the country. In particular, the second wave severely affected the youth of the nation. The Union government of India is also watching the situation and it decided to cancel all the major exams conducted offline at an all India level. Recently, CBSE also decided to cancel the Class XIITH exam. This shows the severity of the pandemic.
The Civil Services and State Provincial Services exam are the exams conducted at the national and state level, respectively. The exam process and the stages of the exam are almost the same but the gravity of the questions and syllabus is a little different. All the states ask state-specific questions but the Civil Service Exam ask questions concerning the national outlook.
In consonance with the Union government, the exam conducting bodies are postponing the exams to a future date. The candidates are getting extra time to prepare for the exam but besides the time, the candidates will be required to prepare for the additional current affairs.
