Q:   What miscellaneous information about eligibility criteria that CUET PG aspirants should be aware of?
A:

For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.

As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.

Q:   How many subjects can candidates choose for the CUET PG exam?
A:

Students can choose more than three subjects for the CUET PG exam but you guys can select one subject per exam session.

The minimum passing percentage to take admission in the CUET PG exam is 55. Applicants need to follow the below-mentioned process for admission process. 

Step 1: First check the eligibility criteria for the programme you want to take from the Central University of Kashmir.

Step 2: Now students must fill the Application form and then appear in the exam

Step 3: After this, applicants must pass the CUET PG exam

Step 4: After the declaration of results, the merit list will be prepared.

Since the exam pattern of CUET PG has been changed recently hence applicants are advised to check it before appearing in the exam. 

  • Total number of questions changed from 100 to 75.
  • A negative marking scheme is applicable for all these questions now.
  • The answer to one correct question carries 4 marks & for one wrong answer there will be a penalty of 1 mark. 
  • Time allotted to attempt the CUET PG exam is 1 hour 45 minutes.
