CUET 2027 Shift Timings: Check Reporting Time & Subject-Wise Exam Duration

CUET UG 2027 will be conducted in multiple shifts each day. The number of shifts is decided based on the number of registered applicants. CUET 2027 Shift Timings

CUET 2027 Shift Timings: The National Testing Agency will share the CUET shift timings 2027 in city intimation slip and admit card. According to past trends, NTA conducts CUET UG in multiple shifts on all exam days. The number of shifts per day is decided based on the number of applications received for each UG subject. Each slot will has 60-minute shift for a subject. Candidates will able to check their CUET 2027 shift timings and reporting time in CUET 2027 exam intimation slip. Upon the release of city slip, NTA will also issue admit cards for candidates to appear for the examination. CUET 2027 will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode in May 2027, across multiple exam centres across India and abroad.

CUET 2027 Reporting Timings

The reporting timings for each CUET shift vary. The CUET 2027 shift-wise reporting timings will be mentioned on the CUET advance intimation slip and admit card. Candidates are advised to report at the allotted exam centre two hours before the CUET shift time.

A PwD candidate may be allowed Compensatory/ Extra time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination, whether such a candidate (having a physical limitation to write) uses the facility of a Scribe or not.

Candidates are informed about the CUET 2027 shift timings on their admit cards. The CUET admit card is released separately for each phase, wherein the shift or slot timings, reporting time, and the exam duration are mentioned.

Where and How to Check CUET 2027 Shift Timings?

Candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2027 exam will be able to check their shift timings, allotted slot, and exam schedule through the CUET exam city intimation slip and admit card. The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases these documents on the official CUET website before the examination. Follow the steps below to check CUET UG shift timings 2027:

Step 3: Enter your CUET UG login details:

• Application Number
• Password

Step 4: After logging in, the screen will display CUET UG allotted shift timing, exam date, slot number, and exam centre details.

CUET UG 2027 Exam Centre: What to Carry?

Candidates appearing for CUET UG 2027 must carefully follow the official NTA exam day instructions. Below is the complete list of mandatory documents and allowed items required at the examination centre.

1. Printed CUET UG Admit Card with Self-Declaration Form

A clear printout of the CUET UG Admit Card 2027 downloaded from the official NTA website is mandatory.

• The admit card must be printed on A4-size paper.
• Candidates must also carry the duly filled self-declaration (undertaking) form attached to the admit card.

2. Transparent Ball Point Pen

Only a simple transparent ballpoint pen is allowed inside the examination hall for exam-related purposes. No other stationery items are permitted.

3. Additional Passport-Size Photograph

Candidates must carry one extra passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the CUET application form).

4. Valid Original Photo ID Proof

It is compulsory to bring one original, valid, and non-expired photo ID proof. Accepted identity documents include:

• School Identity Card
• PAN Card
• Passport
• Aadhaar Card (with photograph)
• E-Aadhaar (with photograph)
• Class 12 Board Admit Card (with photograph)
• Bank Passbook (with photograph)

5. PwD/PwBD Certificate (If Applicable)

Candidates applying under the PwD/PwBD category must carry a valid disability certificate issued by a recognized medical authority to claim relaxation benefits.

6. Items Allowed for Diabetic Candidates

As per NTA guidelines, diabetic candidates are permitted to carry:

• Sugar tablets
• Fruits such as bananas, apples, or oranges

CUET 2027 Exam Day Instructions

Candidates who will be appearing for the CUET UG exam are advised to check the exam day guidelines below:

• Candidates should try to reach the examination centre a couple of hours before the CUET exam commencement. It must be noted that candidates will not be allowed to enter the CUET 2027 exam centre 30 minutes before the exam commencement.

• No candidate shall be permitted to leave the Examination Room/ Hall before the end of the examination

• Candidates are advised to verify the location of the test venue a day in advance so that they do not face any problems on the day of the test

• If religion/customs require you to wear specific attire, please visit the Centre early for thorough checking and mandatory frisking

• Frisking through a Handheld Metal Detector (HHMD) will be carried out without physical touch

• Candidates must enter the required details, paste the Photograph, and put a thumb impression at the appropriate place on the CUET Admit Card 2027. They should ensure that their Left-Hand Thumb Impression is clear and not smudged

• Candidate must carry “Any one of the original and valid Photo Identification Proof issued by the Government” – PAN card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo. All other IDs/Photocopies of IDs, even if attested/scanned photos of IDs in the mobile phone, will NOT be considered valid ID Proof.

• A PwD candidate may be allowed Compensatory/ Extra time of 20 minutes per hour of the examination, whether such a candidate(having a physical limitation to write) uses the facility of Scribe or not

• PwBD candidates must bring a PwD certificate issued by the Competent Authority if claiming relaxation under the PwD category. The Scribe provided by the NTA must also carry his/ her own Self Declaration (Undertaking) regarding educational qualification, passport-size photograph, valid government identity

• A duly filled-in Admit Card must be handed over to the Invigilator while leaving the examination Hall/Room. Failure to do so may result in the non-evaluation of your answers

• No Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices. All the Examination Centres are under CCTV surveillance and equipped with Jammers

• The candidate should ensure that the CUET Question Paper available on the computer screen is as per his/her opted subject/medium indicated in the Admit Card. In case the subject/medium of the Question Paper is other than his/her opted subject/medium, the same may be brought to the notice of the Invigilator concerned

• The candidates are advised to carefully read the Subject-Specific Instructions and other instructions mentioned in the Question paper and abide by the same

• If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has submitted multiple applications, his/her candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be taken, including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA.

• Candidates appearing for the CUET UG 2027 examination must ensure to follow the exam day dress code. NTA has prescribed the CUET UG 2027 dress code for male and female candidates.
