CUET PG 2026 Candidates Applied
CUET PG 2026: The National Testing Agency released the category-wise data for the candidates who registered and appeared in the CUET PG 2026 exam. The National Testing Agency released the CUET PG 2026 result on its official website - https://exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/. In addition to that, the NTA also provided the breakup of such registered and appeared candidates for each subject.
The NTA conducted the CUET PG 2026 exam from March 6 to 27 online as a Computer-Based Test(CBT). The National Testing Agency is the exam-conducting body for the Common University Entrance Test (Post Graduate). It conducts the CUET PG exam online as a Computer-Based Test. After that, the NTA also released the provisional and final CUET PG 2026 Answer Key PDFs on its official website.
It released the result notice and mentioned all the details about the unique and total candidates registered and appeared in the CUET PG exam. The exam conducting body released such data for all the subject papers. Let us see these numbers and their comparative analysis with last year's numbers. NTA has reduced number of centres from 312 to 292 in CUET PG 2026. In addition, students can choose 4 city choices. Earlier they were provided only 2 options. This time, students will have to answer only A section which is domain specific.
CUET PG 2026 counselling process will be conducted by the participating universities separately. On comparing it with the previous year's data, we can say that the attendance percentage in CUET PG 2026 is decreased by around 10 percent which is a massive decrease for a nation-wide exam. The number of candidates registering for the exam has decreased in comparison to the years 2023 and 2024.

Commonly asked questions
CUET PG Passing Marks are the scores or marks to be obtained to qualify for admission to the universities. If the candidate wants to know whether they have passed the CUET PG exam or not, they are required to check the cutoff marks released by the participating universities and colleges. After the declaration of the CUET PG result, all participating universities will release the course-wise passing marks or CUET PG cutoff, which will be used for shortlisting candidates for the counselling process.
Since there is a change in the exam pattern of the CUET PG exam. Now the total marks for which the exam will be conducted has 300 marks as the total number of questions will be 75.
Though good score varies for each stream and colleges, score of 270 out of 300 is considered good enough to get top colleges in CUET PG exam. Students who score 200 to 250 also get colleges of their choice. Students should aim to score at least 200 to get admission in CUET PG exam.

With a CUET PG score of 110, admission to M.Sc. Mathematics at Delhi University is very unlikely. DU's CUET PG cutoffs for Science courses, including Mathematics, generally range much higher—often above 200–250 marks out of 300 for the General category.

With 59 marks out of 300 in CUET PG 2026 as a General Category student, securing a seat for MA English in top-tier Central Universities like DU, JNU, or BHU is highly unlikely.
For a General category student, 180+ is considered a "Good Score" for MA English, while below 100 typically limits options

CUET PG 2026 Answer Key was released on the official website. The last date to send objections was April 14. Candidates should know that at first, the CUET PG 2026 provisional answer key is released and after considering the objections, the NTA will release the final answer key.

The candidates should note that there will be 157 subjects in the CUET PG application form. The National Testing Agency can add the number of subjects in case the participating Universities add new courses.
The candidates will be able to opt for 20 subjects in one application form.

No, CUET-PG is not a mandatory entrance exam for Universal SkillTech University. Candidates who want to apply for BTech admissions can do so with other entrance exam scores such as MH-CET, CAT and XAT as well.
