Candidates can now check the TISS CUET Subject Mapping 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. TISS offers different UG programmes in Social Work, Social Sciences, and other interdisciplinary fields. To be eligible for admission to Tata Institute of Social Sciences, candidates must take CUET UG 2026 by carefully choosing their CUET domain subjects. Candidates seeking admission at TISS through CUET must first know the subjects and languages that NTA offers for CUET exams 2026. According to NTA, candidates must select five subjects [one compulsory language, three or four domain subjects, and a general aptitude test (if required)] to be eligible for admission at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.

The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

It means that, even if a candidate scores well in the CUET UG exam but do not meet the subject combination requirements of the target CUET college, their application will be rejected.
Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.

CUET 2026 will be held in two slots. The timing for the same is released with release of CUET 2026 admit card. Candidates can know the exam centre and timing along with the release of CUET 2026 admit card. NTA is expceted not to release the official CUET 2026 date sheet. Candidates can check their subject-wise CUET exam date and slot timings on CUET intimation slips and admit card.
On the day of CUET exam, candidates must report at alloted exam centre one hour before the given time. Candidates must make sure to carry the following items are CUET exam centre:
- Print copy of CUET UG 2026 hall ticket with self declaration (undertaking)
- Ball point pen
- Additional passport size photograph (same as uploaded in online form)

Generally the CUET UG exam is held in the month of April or May. These exams are taken in CBT mode which means you will have to go to the centre and answer the questions using computer and the questions are in MCQ format.
