TISS CUET Subject Mapping
Candidates can now check the TISS CUET Subject Mapping 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. TISS offers different UG programmes in Social Work, Social Sciences, and other interdisciplinary fields. To be eligible for admission to Tata Institute of Social Sciences, candidates must take CUET UG 2026 by carefully choosing their CUET domain subjects. Candidates must select the subjects required to meet the eligibility criteria of the target course in the application form. Only eligible candidates who meet the admission criteria, including subject combination, educational qualification, etc., can participate in the CUET 2026 admission process.
NTA has again opened CUET 2026 application form link for UG admissions 2026 on its official website. Candidates can submit their online form by February 26. Only registered candidates will be able to appear for the exam and apply for TISS admissions 2026. The entrance exam will be conducted between May 11 and May 31. The mode of examination will be Computer Based Test.

CUET UG Subjects 2026
Candidates seeking admission at TISS through CUET must first know the subjects and languages that NTA offers for CUET exams 2026. According to NTA, candidates must select five subjects [one compulsory language, three or four domain subjects, and a general aptitude test (if required)] to be eligible for admission at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

- Languages: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu
- Domain Subjects: Accountancy/Book Keeping, Agriculture, Anthropology, Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry, Business Studies, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, Economics/Business Economics, Fine Arts/Visual Arts(Sculpture/Painting)/ Commercial Art, Geography/ Geology, History, Home Science, Knowledge Tradition Practices in India, Mass Media/Mass Communication, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, Performing Arts, Physical Education/National Cadet Corps(NCC)/ Yoga, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit, and Sociology.
- General Aptitude Test: For Vocational/Open Eligibility/Cross Stream/Any other as applicable.

Go on the official website of university/organaisation. Check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:
- Section I - 13 Languages
- Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III - General Test
For the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) at TISS, students need to select the English Language as a compulsory subject from Section I and a General Test from Section III.

Yes, candidates who do not fulfill the subject mapping and eligibility criteria for a UG course at the applied university may face disqualification during the admission process. It means that, even if a candidate scores well in the CUET UG exam but do not meet the subject combination requirements of the target CUET college, their application will be rejected.
Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.

CUET is not mandatory for BBA admission at ITS College of Professional Studies. Students can get admission based on merit and college-level selection process. However, having good academic marks improves chances.

No, Maharaja Agrasen International College does not accept CUET score for admission. The college offers merit-based admission in the UG and PG courses based on score in last qualifying exam.

From CUET UG 2026 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.
