TISS CUET Subject Mapping
Candidates can check the TISS CUET Subject Mapping 2026 at cuet.nta.nic.in. TISS offers different UG programmes in Social Work, Social Sciences, and other interdisciplinary fields. To be eligible for admission to Tata Institute of Social Sciences, candidates must take the CUET 2026 exam by carefully choosing their CUET domain subjects. Candidates must select the subjects required to meet the eligibility criteria of the target course in the application form. Only eligible candidates can participate in the CUET 2026 admission process.
NTA will release the CUET 2026 application form for UG admissions 2026 on its official website. The tentative release date is March 2026. The CUET UG exam 2026 will be tentatively conducted in May/June 2026. The mode of examination will be Computer Based Test.

CUET UG Subjects 2026
Candidates seeking admission at TISS through CUET must first know the subjects and languages that NTA offers for CUET exams 2026. According to NTA, candidates must select five subjects [one compulsory language, three or four domain subjects, and a general aptitude test (if required)] to be eligible for admission at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Yes, candidates who do not fulfill the subject mapping and eligibility criteria for a UG course at the applied university may face disqualification during the admission process. It means that, even if a candidate scores well in the CUET UG exam but do not meet the subject combination requirements of the target CUET college, their application will be rejected.
Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.

No, CUET is not mandatory for Jindal School of Languages and Literature admissions. While the institute does accept CUET scores, students can alternatively submit other exam scores as well. The other accepted exams include JSAT / SAT / ACT / UGAT / LSAT-India.

To prepare for CUET Mathematics exam effectively, students must ideally give two to three hours practice. Students must focus on previous year qiuestion papers and mock tests to prepare well for exam. Daily practice and consistency will help candidate score 250 marks in exam.

No, a valid CUET score is accepted for admissions to both BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities and the BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at JSLAH.
In the previous year admissions, CUET was only listed as an accepted exam for the BA (Hons) in Liberal Arts & Humanities admission.

For admission to Delhi University, candidate must have passed or appeared for class 12 examination. There are no minimum marks requirement in class 12 for DU admission through CUET UG. DU may use the class 12 marks or percentage for tie breaking criteria.

CUET universities like DU and Allahabad University does not prescribe the minimum marks in class 12 for CUET UG. There are a total of 157 subjects in the CUET PG exam. The subjects are segregated into six streams. The table below shows the number of papers in each stream.
