Tata Institute of Social Sciences will release the TISS CUET cutoff 2025 after CUET results. Candidates seeking admission to UG courses offered by TISS must have applied for CUET 2025 and TISS Under Graduate Seat Allocation System, also known as TUGSAS 2025. TISS will commence the registrations for TUGSAS 2025 soon.

TISS CUET Cutoff 2025 will be released after the CUET 2025 results. Only candidates who have applied for CUET 2025 and completed the TISS Undergraduate Seat Allocation System (TUGSAS) 2025 registration process will be considered for admission. The cutoff marks will determine the eligibility of candidates for the various UG programs at TISS.

TISS has multiple campuses across India, including Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, and Guwahati. Each campus has its own set of eligibility criteria and cutoff scores based on CUET scores. Q:   How is CUET UG cut off calculated?
A:

The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:

  • Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
  • The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
  • The difficulty level of the CUET exam
  • Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)

CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:

100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Q:   How can I access the CUET UG cut off list?
A:

Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.

  • Visit the official website of the applied and participating institutes
  • On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
  • A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
  • Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released

The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.

Q:   When will NTA release CUET UG cutoff?
A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) does not release the CUET UG cutoff. Once the CUET results are declared, the socres are shared with the participating universities and role of NTA ends with the declaration of results. CUET UG 2025 cutoff has been released by the CUET participtaing universities seperatley. Candidates will be able to check the course wise and category wise cutoff. CUET UG cutoff 2026 has been released by accepting universities after declaration of CUET UG results.

Q:   Is CUET UG cutoff announced along with the results?
A:

No, NTA does not release the CUET UG cut off with the CUET UG results. The role of National Testing Agency ends after the declaration of results. CUET UG cut offs are released by the accepting colleges/universities after the cousnelling registration process is over. Only candidates meeting the CUET cut off criteria will be shortlisted for final admission. The CUET UG cut offs are usually released in August.

TISS Merit List for UG Admissions 2025

Tata Institute of Social Sciences will release the CUET TISS merit list 2025 for admission to its UG courses. Soon after the declaration of the CUET results, TISS releases the list of candidates who have been shortlisted for BA admissions in TISS based on the CUET scores. The authorities do not release the CUET cut off marks.

CUET TISS TUGSAS Admission 2025 Process

To secure admission in TISS UG programs through CUET UG, candidates must:

  1. Appear for CUET 2025 and obtain a qualifying score.

  2. Register for TUGSAS 2025 at tiss.edu.

  3. Follow the merit list-based selection process.

  4. Complete document verification and fee payment within the deadline.

Candidates failing to register for TUGSAS 2025 will not be considered for admission.
