After obtaining the CUET results, candidates will be able to apply for CUET counselling for various participating universities. To apply for CUET UG counselling, candidates can follow the process below;
- Register for the CUET cousnelling process on official website of participating university

CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:
- Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
- Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
- Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.
TISS Admission Through CUET: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the TISS UG courses must check the TUGSAS eligibility criteria for the program. TISS seat will be allocated on the basis of the candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria prescribed for a program of study. Read below to understand TISS admission eligibility criteria:
- Candidate must have passed class 12 examination or equivalent from a recognised board.
- Candidates must have mandatorily appeared for CUET in those subjects in which he/she is appearing/has passed in class 12th.
- TISS seats will be allocated on the basis of the score combination of language or domain-specific subjects in which candidates have appeared in CUET UG as per the respective program-specific eligibility.
- A gap year will not be a bar for candidates seeking admission to the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Candidates seeking admission to Tata Institute of Social Sciences through CUET will have to go through the following stages:

Stage 1: CUET Registration
CUET registration 2026 is important step for applying to TUGSAS 2026. The name of the candidate, signature, and photograph will be auto-integrated from the CUET application form. Applicants must enter the details carefully while filling the CUET application form at cuetug.ntaonline.in.
Stage 2: Appear for CUET UG
Candidates must ensure to select the domain-specific subjects as studied in class 12th and course eligibility criteria offered at TISS. Candidates must appear for the CUET exam on the given date, time and CUET exam centre. The CUET 2026 exam will be Computer Based Test (CBT), wherein candidates have to report at the allotted exam centre on the day of the examination. Candidates must ensure to follow the exam day guidelines to avoid any disqualifications.
Stage 3: Fill TUGSAS Application Form
After appearing for CUET exam, candidates will be required to fill the TISS Under Graduate Seat Allocation System application form. To fill the TUGSAS candidates must refer the steps mentioned below:
Step 1- Visit the TISS official link- ba-admissions.tiss.edu. Click on the tab ‘new registration’ and enter the Email ID and phone number as per CUET UG application form.
Step 2- candidates will now receive the mail from TISS no-reply@admissions.tiss. Edu along with password and instructions.
Step 3- Visit the link provided and enter the email ID and password received from TISS.
Step 4- Start filling the TUGSAS 2026 application form by entering the details about program and its preference based on the programs selected while filling the CUET application form.
Confirm the program, and proceed to next stage.
(Note- Candidates who have attended CUET (UG) – 2026 English (101) and General Test (501) can only register for TISS UG Programme.)
Step 5- Pay the TUGSAS application fee
After confirming the details, candidates will be required to pay the TUGSAS application fee. Refer the table below to know the application fee for TUGSAS:

Stage 4: Declaration of Merit List
On the basis of the application received by the CUET candidates, TISS will release the TUGASA merit list. The list will mention the name of the students who are shortlisted for the UG courses admission they have applied for. TISS will release the merit list, wait lists and conduct spot admissions as per the schedule.
Stage 5: Fee payment

Candidates need to upload scanned copies of a few documents during the registration procedure. The documents must be in PDF / JPEG format. Below is the list of documents.

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam is ongoing.
NTA will announce the CUET result 2026 tentatively in first week of July. CUET UG result 2026 will be announced at cuet.nta.nic.in online. Candidates who will appear for the exam can check their scores online. Students will be required to enter their login credentials to view the CUET scorecard 2026. NTA will mention the applicant's details and subject-wise score for CUET 2026. The scores will be sent to the universities for which candidates have applied soon after the declaration of results. Candidates must note that the role of NTA ends soon after the declaration of CUET results 2026.
