BCECE nursing 2022 counselling will take place after the examination results are declared. BCECEB will conduct and invite the shortlisted candidates for counselling. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the rank card and the merit list. The candidates will be called in for a personal interview and for the verification of the documents. The BCECE nursing 2022 counselling will be held via both the modes online and offline.

How to Participate in BCECE Nursing 2025 Counselling

BCECE nursing counselling is carried out by following a proper procedure that involves registration and reporting. Candidates have to begin the process by registering themselves for counselling. Below is the detailed procedure for BCECE Nursing 2025 counselling:

Step 1: Online registration 

The shortlisted students have to first register themselves via online registration by visiting the website of BCECEB. On the homepage, candidates have to click on the 'Online Counselling' link in the notification section. Candidates have to log in and then register themselves by providing details such as Roll Number, Name, Father's Name and Date of Birth.

Step 2: Online option entry/ choice filling 

After providing the details, candidates will be asked to choose the colleges of their choice from the list of colleges. Three colleges across Bihar accept the BCECE score. Students have to choose the college in a prioritised manner. The three BSc nursing colleges are:

BSc Nursing College, NMCH, Patna
BSc Nursing College, Verdhman Ayurvigyan Sansthan, Pawapuri
BSc Nursing College, JLNMC, Bhagalpur

There are a total of 180 seats available in all three colleges (60 seats in each)

Step 3: Provisional seat allotment

The conducting body BCECEB, will upload a list of provisional seat allotment on its website. Students can access the list by logging in to their accounts. The list and the BCECEB also provide the option to block the seat in their choice of college. Applicants can pass the seat by opting for the float option. Upon selecting the option of freezing/blocking a seat, the candidates will receive a letter of provisional seat allotment, which will have the counselling venue, schedule and other details in order to confirm the seat allotment process. It is advised to take a printout of the letter for further reference.

Step 4: Seat confirmation 

Applicants have to submit the soft copies of the documents for verification, and after that one has to log in for the final seat allotment process. After the conclusion of the final seat allotment process, candidates have to pay the admission fee to finally block the seat in the choice of the college.

Documents required for BCECE Counselling

Candidates are required to carry a set of mandatory documents for final verification through offline counselling. Below is  the list of mandatory documents:

  • Class 12 mark sheet and certificates 
  • Class 12 admit card/ Hall ticket 
  • Class 10 mark sheet and certificates
  • Date of birth proof or class 10th certificate 
  • Reserved category certificate (If any)
  • Proof of Income 
  • BCECE Application Form Part A and B 
  • BCECE admit card 
  • Domicile certificate for the native of Bihar state 
  • Category certificate (SC/ST certificate)
  • Character Certificate

Yes, candidates need to sign on the BCECE admit card. But the signature should be done on the exam day in the presence of the invigilator. In case test takers sign on the admit card before the exam, it may lead to cancellation of the test.

As the BCECE syllabus is the same as the Class 12 Board exam, a common preparation will be sufficient. Along with that students should also solve BCECE mock tests and past question papers.

The BCECE application fee has to be paid in online mode only. The different methods of payment are Credit Card, Debit Card, Netbanking and UPI. There is no possibility to pay in cash, cheque, etc.
