The Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test (UPCATET) was conducted on June 17. As per the students who appeared in the exam and the exam experts, the UPCATET 2026 exam was moderate with some difficult questions. The candidates found Chemistry questions easy to solve. The University asked conceptual questions based on the UPCATET syllabus prescribed in the information bulletin.

UPCATET Exam Analysis
Students who appeared for the UPCATET exam found some of the questions easy, but there were some of the questions that were difficult but still understandable. The UPCATET Exam had Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for all courses—UG, PG, and PhD. Most students felt the time was sufficient and could complete the exam without much difficulty. A candidate who took the PCB paper said the questions were from the Class 11 and Class 12 syllabus. For PG courses, students had to study topics related to their selected topics.

What after UPCATET Results?
The UPCATET results will be released in the form of a merit list as per the course. The marks and percentage of the candidates will be mentioned on the UPCATET merit list. Students who make the UPCATET merit list will have to appear for the counselling session to complete the admission formalities by submitting their documents and paying the first semester/year fees. Official dates will be announced for the declaration of results and the counselling session, along with when classes will commence.
