Banda University of Agriculture and Technology has released UPCATET result 2026 on June 30. Candidates can check and download their results through the official website, upcatetexam.org. Kavya Masih from Kankarkheda, Meerut, secured the first position in the UPCATET 2026 exam. Prachi Dwivedi from Kannauj secured second rank. Mohammad Kaif from Rampur stood third.

Candidates can access their results with their login credentials. The result contains rank and qualifying status. UPCATET 2026 entrance exam was conducted on June 17 and 18, 2026.

The university declared UPCATET counselling Round 3 seat allotment result on August 30. The admission, reporting and document verification process was completed on September 2, 2026. The university has also announced offline counselling registration from September 9 to 11, 2026.

How to Download UPCATET Result 2026?

The candidates should keep their application number and password to log in to the official portal. The candidates will get their marks and result after the log in. Students must check out the following information to download the UPCATET Result.

  1. Visit the UPCATET site and click on the result link. 
  2. Click on the 'applicant login' tab. 
  3. Fill in their password, DoB and registration number. 
  4. Then filling their registration number, roll number, date of birth (DoB) and group of paper.
  5.  Once the form is filled out, read all the details and click on the submit button. 
  6. After submitting, one needs to download and save the result PDF to use it during the Admission process.

Q:   What to do the after declaration of results of UPCATET?
A: 

Applicants who qualify the UPCATET exam for the respective courses for which they have applied further need to appear in counselling. Applicants need to join counselling process possess the following items i.e Mobile phone, email id, date of birth, roll number and scanned copy of documents. 

The process of counselling includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, uploading of document, document verification, dowloading of allotment letter and last admission process of the allotted universities.

 

Q:   What if I am unable to check the UPCATET 2026 result after its declaration due to error?
A: 

Students may face encounter a server error after the results are declared. As soon as the UPCATET result is out, the website experiences heavy traffic. Applicants should have patience and try again after a while. 

Q:   Is there negative marking in UPCATET exam?
A: 

Yes, there is a negative marking scheme in the UPCATET exam. For each correct answer applicants will be given 4 marks. For each incorrect answer, 1/4th of the total marks or 1 mark will be deducted. 

The calculation of the score for the respective programmes will be taken into consideration by taking into account all correct & incorrect answers. After preparing the list of all candidates the authorities will prepare the list of successful applicants based on the availability of seats

Those who wish to give the UPCATET exam must score a minimum of 20 per cent if they come from the General category, and for SC/ST, the cutoff is 10 per cent.

For every right answer, students get 4 marks, and for a wrong answer, 1 mark is subtracted. If a student does not answer a question, no mark is removed. Q:   Who will declare UPCATET Results?

The result of UPCATET exam is declared by the exam conducting authority in online mode only.  The Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, is the exam conducting body. Candidates who appeared in the exam and have successfully filled their OMR sheet their result will be declared.

No a student who belong to Bihar can not appear in UPCATET exam. As according to UPCATET eligibility criteria:

A) Such students who are living in UP from the last 5 years and have completed the required qualification from state only. 

B) Such citizens of India whose father’s residence or place of origin is UP and he/she also belong to UP. 

C) Such citizens of India whose father’s residence or their residence is not from UP but they acquired and have been living in the state for 5 years.

The UPCATET exam 2026 was conducted on June 17 for the UG programmes and on June 18 for the PG programmes. The admit cards were released on June 6.
