IIT Bombay Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Ranks

IIT Bombay JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was released for B.Tech. and Integrated B.Tech. courses for different categories belonging to the AII India quota. Within the BTech programme, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks were in the range of 66 and 8343. Of all the BTech specialisations, the most competitive was CSE, followed by Electrical Engineering and B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering, with last round closing ranks of 433 and 841, respectively. IIT Bombay Cutoff 2025 For General All India Category

IIT Bombay BTech cutoff 2025 ranged between 66 and 8343 for the students belonging to the General AI category. Computer Science and Engineering was the most sought-after branch among the Engineering aspirants for taking admission. On the otherhand, the least competitive branch was Environmental Science and Engineering, with JEE Advanced first and last round closing ranks of 4696 and 4777, respectively.  

For B.S. in Mathematics, B.S.  in Economics and B.S. in Chemistry, the last round cutoff ranks were 1067, 2372 and 7228, respectively. For other courses and specialisations, refer to the table below to view the cutoff ranks. 

IIT Bombay Cutoff 2025 For OBC All India Category

Compared with the General AII India category students, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks were more competitive for most of the courses. For CSE, the cutoff closed at 54 in the OBC category, which was comparatively less as compared to the General category (66) for CSE admission. This indicates that the competition was higher for the students belonging to the OBC category under the AI quota.

IIT Bombay Cutoff 2025 For SC All India Category

IIT Bombay SC category cutoff 2025 was 31 for CSE, 163 for Electrical Engineering and 293 for B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. Similarly, for admission to B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks were 513, 692 and 703, respectively. 

For the B.S course, the closing ranks ranged between 855 and 2164, with B.S. in Economics being the most competitive, followed by B.S. in Mathematics and B.S. in Chemistry. More details are below: 

IIT Bombay Cutoff 2025 For ST All India Category

Check out the table provided below to view the IIT Bombay ST category cutoff 2025 for BTech, Integrated BTech and B.S courses. For BTech admission across multiple specialisations, the maximum cutoff rank required for admission was 821. This means that candidates with a lower cutoff rank than the cutoff rank mentioned here can easily get a seat for their desired specialisation. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the JEE Advanced first and last round closing ranks for the year 2025. For both rounds, the closing ranks varied between 20 and 1353, wherein the most challenging for admission was CSE, followed by Electrical Engineering and B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. On the contrary, some easy-to-grab courses with lenient last round closing ranks of 1311 and 1353 were B.Sc. in Applied Geophysics and B.S. in Chemistry, respectively. For the PWD category students, the JEE Advanced last round closing ranks ranged between 4 and 202, with Computer Science and Engineering being the most competitive for admission. Other than CSE, the other competitive BTech branches for admission with lenient last round closing ranks of 23 and 29 were Electrical Engineering and B.Tech. + M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
