Yes, Banaras Hindu University accepts CUET-UG entrance exam scores for admission to BA (Hons) course. Earlier, admission to the UG course was through BHU UET. Moreover, only the candidates who have valid CUET-UG scores become eligible to register for the counselling round. The CUET application process is carried out in online mode (cuet.samarth.ac.in). Further, NTA conducts CUET-UG 2024 entrance test. The exam is scheduled between May 15 and May 31.

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the top-ranking universities in the country. In the NIRF rankings in 2023, BHU is ranked in fifth position under the "university" category. Moreover, as per the university NIRF report 2023, 480 UG (three-year) students were placed out of 3,564. The median package given to the placed candidates stood at INR 8 LPA. Admission to most of the BHU UG and PG courses is through CUET score. However, for some courses such as PhD, MFA, etc. the university has a separate admission criteria. Candidates must check the admission requirement for the preferred course before applying for admission.

Yes, Banaras Hindu University accept CUET score for multiple UG courses, including BA (Hons), BCom (Hons) BSc (Hons), etc. The university is also offering admission to its PG courses based on merit in CUET-PG. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements can register on the BHU admission portal for counselling. The admission is done in order of merit based on the normalised score of the CUET (PG) and reservation policy as per the provisions laid down in the BHU PET Information Brochure.

BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025 has been announced for admission across multiple specialisations including MA, MSc, MCA, MTTM, LLM,  and MBA. In CUET PG 2025, the overall closing score in the General category stood between 20 and 699. Wherein, the toughest and the easiest course among all the courses are MPA in Vocal Music (Hindustani) and MA in Persian due to high and low score, respectively.

According to the IMS BHU MBA placement report 2025, the highest package offered during MBA & MBA IB and MBA Agri-Business placements 2025 was INR 19.8 LPA and INR 16 LPA, respectively.

BHU admission 2025 to the undergraduate courses is based on CUET UG scores. BHU merit list 2025 for CUET UG has been released. As per the BHU cutoff 2025, the minimum CUET UG cutoff score was 94 for B.Ed. in Special Education (Visual Impaired - Social Science and Humanities), followed by 191 for B.Ed. in Mathematics. Therefore, according to the BHU Round 4 Seat Allotment result, the minimum cutoff score stood at 94 for the General AI quota. Please note that the minimum required cutoff score for admission varies for different rounds and categories. 

Talking about the BHU maximum cutoff score for 2025, B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology became the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 628.46 for the students belonging to the General AI quota.
