For this category, the overall cutoff fell in the ranges of 10 to 596 for various courses, like MA, MTech, MFA, MSc, etc. According to the last round, the most the toughest course was MPA in Instrumental Music (Tabla), with the bhu cutoff 2025 cuet being 575. In contrast, the most accessible course was MA in Economics (Energy Economics), with the cuet PG cutoff being 10.

BHU MA cutoff 2025 was released for admission in various fields, like Mathematics, Mass Communication,  Conflict Management and Development, etc. For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 5 to 253. As per the last round, the toughest MA course was MA in Psychology, with the cutoff being 253. On the other side, the easiest programme was MA in Persian, with a cutoff of 20.

BHU does not accept JEE Main scores for BTech course admission. The interested students need to take the CUET-UG entrance exam to be eligible for selection. Students who get shortlisted based on exam score have to take part in counselling. The seats are allotted in this round only. 

The BHU offers good placements across all its courses with median package hovering around INR 8 LPA - INR 16 LPA for UG courses. The aforementioned placement data has been obtained from the NIRF report on BHU as the institute is yet to reveal its placement data. Admission to most of the BHU UG and PG courses is through CUET score. However, for some courses such as PhD, MFA, etc. the university has a separate admission criteria. Candidates must check the admission requirement for the preferred course before applying for admission.

Banaras Hindu University offers admission on the basis of both, merit and entrance scores. The eligibility differs for each course. Candidates who wish to apply to BHU Varanasi, must fulfil the course-specific eligibility.

Banaras Hindu University is one of the oldest universities. It should be a good opportunity to study here. BTech CSE course is available on the university main campus. The Computer Science Engineering is one of the popular specialisations. Students from this branch get the best salary package most of the times.

The hostel fee structure for BHU is INR 3,000 - INR 4,000 per semester depending upon the degree. The hostel fee does not include mess charges. Banaras Hindu University is spread across a 1,300-acre campus. There are 41 hostels for boys and 21 for girls. Additionally, there is separate accommodation for international students. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, a common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system, etc.

Banaras Hindu University is one of the top recognised universities of India. The reviews of students are mixed when talking about safety. Some feel that the campus is absolutely safe due to the security available on the campus while others may not agree on it. BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually jeld in March whereas, CUET-UG takes place in May. Students must check the complete schedule for exact dates. CUET applications for the coming year will begin in February and continue till April.
