Review of Calcutta University.
Placements: I got placed in a good company, in TCS. Even did further studies and got a good package. The minimum salary package offered was 1.6 LPA. I was first tried out to work without getting paid anything. Later I was introduced to this package. I'm certainly happy with the package I'm getting.
Infrastructure: Everything was top-notch in the college. It was neat and clean, apart from certain areas that can see an improvement. That is the cleanliness of the frontal area in the college. The science lab also needs improvement. Apart from all of these, the college was quite well maintained.
Faculty: This course makes students industry-ready because I was placed directly after completing my graduation. Teachers were well qualified and made students understand the hardest of things more easily. I can certainly not be happier. I am thankful to the college.
Other: I opted for this course because I had a background in arts in my family. I always wanted to be in the education field. Since education is the background of society, I always wanted to be a teacher. I certainly can't regret my decision. I will ask aspiring students to enroll and get their dreams fulfilled. The only thing that can be improved in the course is the induction of information technology subject, apart from it is good enough. Events were held regularly, be it college fests, or anything that included the students federation in it.
