My experience at Miranda House.
Placements: Miranda House serves as a platform for interaction between various companies offering to fulfil the career aspirations of students. These companies are amongst the most prestigious companies in different sectors, like Outlook, Urban Clap, and Thomson Reuters. Although I am a first-year student, I know a great deal about the placements that the students are offered.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are neat and clean, with most rooms having ACs. The library is also quite spacious. Ventilation is good. Apart from that, Wi-Fi also works pretty well. There are several Wi-Fi networks offered by the college. There are several sports offered, including NCC. The college has 3 canteens. The food in the canteens is also really good. The only negative thing is the limited number of hostel rooms.
Faculty: I am quite impressed with faculty in the college. They are very experienced and hold diverse opinions, which they like to share with the students. This makes studies more holistic and interesting. Miranda House offers a common syllabus, which is given by Delhi University.

Absolutely satisfied with the environment of the college.
Placements: In the placement cell of the college, 16.4% of the placements are from the BAP department. There is an average package of 9 LPA. Good internship opportunities are available to the students with various government and non-government institutions like ISRO, IMD, and Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The environment of the campus is very clean. Every facility, from drinking water, Wi-Fi, canteens, a medical room, gym, and sports court, is present in the college. The hostel serves its own aesthetics.
Faculty: The academics and faculty are very good. Faculty provides good-standard books to read according to the syllabus. Not only does the degree being pursued help, but extracurricular activities also matter, with college events and societies providing them.

Opportunities provided at Miranda House are exceptional.
Placements: Miranda House placements cell runs people who are smart and intelligent and therefore they ensure that maximum students of our college are placed. Our placements in economics are definitely the top, and nearly 70 percent of students of our programme are placed every year. Median package offered at campus placements for our programme is around 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The lawn next to our principal office is so beautiful and students are seen sitting and chilling there during the break. Our campus has separate blocks for Science and Arts, and the Arts block is definitely better than the Science one. Some classrooms are AC while some aren't. Hut areas are also there at our campus, and thus we don't have to sit under the sun during noon.
Faculty: This is the best thing as all our faculty members are excellent in the domain they teach us. Both the domains of my course, which are history and economics, have exceptional faculty members. I always wanted to study economics, and that was the prime reason for me choosing this course. DU exams are generally quite easy and hence the passing percentage is always very high.
Other: Our annual event Tempest is the hottest event of DU. The crowd is definitely the best and many Bollywood movies and series have been shot at our campus.

Miranda House is indeed a premier college of DU in many aspects.
Placements: As such, in my course, there are no direct placements in the context of the subjects we are delving into. These subjects offer a vivid scenario of the world that pushes a person to continue their studies further ahead. Also, these subjects are somewhat beneficial for the competitive.
Infrastructure: There is a very well-established infrastructure of the college. Almost all the classes have viable seating that is comfortable. Many classes even have a smartboard. Many also have ACs in them too. The library is top-notch. The hostel provides very beautiful seating and a serene outlook.
Faculty: The faculty is generally very helpful. They are well educated and qualified. Many of them themselves belong to distinguished universities like DU or JNU. The semester exams are not that tough. In fact, if a person studies the lectures themselves, a very good CGPA can be scored therein.

Great college with faculty.
Placements: There is no such placement provided in our college for the specially B.A. Political Science Honors course. The only career option for this course is teaching or any international organisation other than that there is no such placement for this course provided in the college.
Infrastructure: No hostel for students but the infrastructure of the college is quite decent. They have one of the largest canteens of Delhi University, as well as a new building that is also made for classes of new batches. Fans are also in good condition and there is a garden for students.
Faculty: Faculty is super helpful and good. They attend every class and also make sure that students are attentive in class. All viva, practical, and exams are taken at the right time and in the right way. Faculty is the best of PGDAV College so far from other colleges.
Other: The course is quite decent if you want to pursue your career in politics or teaching or you have an interest. If you also want to join any international organisation, then this course is very helpful. The value of this course is more outside the college and great exposure.
