The college is spread over 60 acres, and placements are average.
Placements: About 60% are placed in companies like Infosys, Cisco, Oracle, JP Morgan, and Unthinkable. About 20% students got internships at Cisco, Oracle, and Infosys. Roles offered are full-stack developer, software engineer, cybersecurity engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The campus lacks Wi-Fi and internet connection in most parts, and even the library Wi-Fi does not work well. The hostel is pretty good, and separate rooms are provided to everyone. The campus offers different games.
Faculty: Teachers mostly teach from PPTs generated by AI like ChatGPT, so you have to prepare everything on your own. The curriculum is very poor as they are teaching 3rd and 4th sem subjects in the 2nd semester, increasing study pressure on the student, and moreover, they don't even give proper internal marks to everyone, making it hard to pass the exams. Teachers are supportive and give good internal marks to students when they do their best in assignments and tests.
Other: I chose IT because I wanted to pursue cybersecurity, and this course opens a vast field to work in. I wish the campus life is better, and the academic pressure is less. The college organises Anugoonj fest, but it's very crowded, and the campus doesn't have much space to handle the crowd. There is poor coordination between organizers and their teams. The campus offers different sports activities like cricket, volleyball, football, tennis, and badminton. The crowd is not so good.

Placement is bad, but there's hope that the college will improve in the future.
Placements: Placement is not very good, the highest package this year is 27 LPA in GoDaddy. 70% of students got placed through mass hiring by Infosys. CSE and IT don't differ much because what you can do from CSE, you can do from an IT degree as well, so placement is mostly the same in both.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, and the hostel offers separate rooms to people for their privacy. The mess food is hygienic as well. They offer a 4 times meal. Breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. The environment is good as well in the hostels and on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are bad, they don't teach well, and mostly stay absent from class. They don't even give good internal marks in the exams. The course syllabus is old and doesn't meet the industry level. The semester exams are good, but sometimes they're completely out of the blue.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a cybersecurity engineer. I wish the college would give importance to engineers and provide AC in our classrooms like every other course. Anugoong fest is good in college.

All about USICT-GGSIPU MAIN CAMPUS.
Placements: The placement record of the last two or three years post-COVID is not very convincing. Most companies offer packages between 3 and 7 lakhs per annum, and only a few students qualify on all grounds. The highest package this year is 20 lakhs per annum, and placement is still ongoing in 2024.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at GGSIPU varies from block to block. Some blocks are clean and well-maintained, while others are old and dirty. The labs are air-conditioned, clean, and well-equipped. There are various food outlets on campus, including Mother Dairy and Amul. The canteen is decent.
Faculty: The teachers at USICT are mostly knowledgeable and qualified, but very few are actually keen to teach. Most of them are just going through the motions and passing time. The course curriculum is updated in accordance with the new education policy. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and if we study the syllabus well we can easily score well.
Other: I gave JEE Main in 2023 and scored in the 95th percentile. I participated in IPU counseling in the fourth round and was admitted to the main campus of IPU, which is USICT. I chose to study B.Tech. in IT because I have a strong interest in technology. One of the highlights of my college experience was Anugoonj, a large fest that is held every year and invites many national artists to perform. Last year, Jubin Nautiyal, Akhil, and DJ Shadow were among the artists who performed at Anugoonj.

I'm satisfied with this college.
Placements: Good percentage of students get placements in our college. The highest salary package offered in 2022 was 45 LPA and the lowest salary package was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Facebook, Flipkart, etc. Around 90% of students get internships in different companies. The roles offered are software engineer, data scientist, artificial intelligence, machine learning engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel, college, canteen, and library is very good. Wi-Fi is available on 5 blocks such as A, B, C, D, and E. It is now divided into 3 blocks. Seminar halls are covered with Wi-Fi and many more.
Faculty: Teaching quality is not good but our teachers are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are not hard but students have to study hard for major exams like the end semester. Minor exams are conducted in between semesters through attendance and projects.
Other: There is a good connection between seniors and juniors.

Our college has good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Placements are very good. Top recruiting companies are 1MG, Rapid, and Amazon. The average salary package offered was 12 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 14.6 LPA. The coding culture is very decent. Every branch is very good in this college. Many students got internships in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Our campus spreads over 80 acres of land. Canteen is available. Nescafe, Mother Dairy, and many other stalls are available on our campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. They mainly focused on the theoretical part. The course curriculum is very good. You will learn C languages with other subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Mechanics, and Electrical Science. Semester exams are very easy. If we study properly, we can score good marks. They don't try to teach conceptual learning.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in placements. Fests are excellent in this college. Cultural fest is also conducted. Celebrities like Arman Malik also visit our campus for entertainment purposes.

The admission in B.Tech courses at GGSIPU are based on the JEE Main ranks. All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The University shall not conduct its own CET for admissions, but shall be utilizing the merit of JEE
