IIT Bombay BTech is available in over 10 specialisations. Some of the popular course specialisations are Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, etc. IIT Bombay BTech admission is done based on merit in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. Students who meet the college cutoff have to participate in the JoSAA counselling for seat allotment. Besides the four-year BTech courses, the institute also offers dual degree options. Yes, IIT Bombay offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to UG students. It is awarded to a maximum of 25% of sanctioned intake. For Dual degree, it is available only up to fourth year.
Merit Criterion: For new entrants of BDes their UCEED Rank, will be the criterion. In subsequent years, the criterion will be their academic performance during the preceding academic year.

The various processes involved in JoSAA 2026 counselling are registration, choice filling, seat allocation, and online reporting. JoSAA counselling is conducted for admission to BE/B.Tech courses are offered by the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. JoSAA counselling 2026 will be conducted online in five rounds. Admission to BTech courses in IIT Bombay is subject to fulfiment of the eligibility requirements for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. No, IIT Bombay will not send the hard copies of CEED 2026 Scorecard. The scorecard of CEED will be issued only in online mode. The candidate has to download it from the CEED admission portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. To download the scorecard, log in by entering your email id and password.Â
