You can opt for this college if you are interested in creating something new for your life.
Placements: Placements are not that good. At least 4 to 5 companies are coming for placements, and they offer a salary package of 2.5 to 3 LPA. Companies are giving some criteria like CGPA, so most of the students do not qualify for placements. Some good companies are also coming in our campus.
Infrastructure: Food is average, but they provide 4 times food like breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. You can enjoy unlimited food. Breakfast is given in the limited edition, but lunch and dinner are given in two types like south and north Indian.
Faculty: Teachers are not good. They don't have a clear idea, but some are good. Faculty members are available like they have good qualifications. They have a degree of NIT or the same level of higher education, and teachers are eco-friendly. They can help you.
Other: The campus is crowded, and you can meet some international students and create your own diversity.

College is good for MBA and BBA students because the placement rate is more than 90%.
Placements: About 60% of the students got placed, and even I got placed in an MNC company.
Infrastructure: Different labs are available here, and many machines are available like CNC and welding machines. There are also many shops inside the college, but our college takes higher rent from them. Hence, the food rate is high, and even the mess food quality is average.
Faculty: Teachers here were helpful, but they only taught topics which are required for semester exams. External knowledge is also required, which are not much provided here. They only deal with books which are continually coming from 10-15 years old, and there are no changes. Technology and innovation are changing daily, so for comfortable, it must be changed in the syllabus. Teachers have a good experience. There are a few teachers who are experienced, and some of the teachers are even students of that same LPU University that they are teaching juniors at an affordable price.
Other: There are 16 batches in ME, and there are about 50-60 students per batch. For every hour, only one teacher teaches us. Scholarships are provided here, but still, the tuition fee is more. The amount for any misbehaving activity is more.

It is the best college in North India.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placement offers, but only 40% of the students got placed in core companies. Core companies like Ashok Leyland, Bosch, etc., visited our college for recruitment. The average salary package was around 4.5 LPA. Top roles offered in our course were quality engineer, GET, etc. Companies like Byjus, etc., hired for sales roles as well, and a lot of companies hired for merchant navy also.
Infrastructure: Our college has a Wi-Fi facility, labs, exposure, integrated course and state-of-the-art infrastructure. The food served is good, and even South Indian food is also served in the mess. There are gyms and shopping mall inside the campus, and the hospital is also available inside the campus, along with ambulance facilities. Sports facilities are also available, and even there is an Olympic size swimming pool.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, and their teaching quality is also good. There will be continuous R&D on the syllabus. Mostly teachers are M.Tech holders. The syllabus was followed as per AICTE. Apart from that, few integrated courses are provided parallel for students to compete in the industry. International level competitions are also conducted.

Finally, admission in this university should be choose according to course.
Placements: Many number of companies are offering placements but it is very difficult to get placed in a reputated companies. First have to clear C. G. P. A criteria, Next placement examination, then student is eligible to seat in placement drive. Some of the companies set the minimum C. G. P. A mark. For mechanical engineering there will be companies like Tech mahindra, Voltas, Elgai, Maruti. Etc. ,. The highest package is about 20lakh and the average package is 3.5 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The best infrastructure can be seen here. Well equpied labs, The best thing in this university is DSW ( Division of Student welfare), where Extra circular activities like music, dance, acting, weight lifting, etc. Can learn by student which is absolutely free. We can found the best digital Library.
Faculty: About 120 streams can be found here. With highly qualified professor and most probably all the faculty members are completed Ph.D. Many of the professor follow the slideshow method for teaching purpose. And Examination procedure is completely different from other university Class test of 25 marks Mid exam 20 marks Final exam 50 marks Attendance is of 5 marks Class test is conduct for 30 marks later it converts into 25 and mid exam is objective it will be like GATE. It is for 40 marks later convert into 20. End term is for 70 it will be convert into 50. Passing criteria is 40 /100. Passing in a subject is not too easy and not too difficult.
Other: There are many events held in LPU. Among them One India, One World are the biggest events, youth vibe is held in the month of march it contains fashion show, Dj night and many other programmes. In order to that Annual sports meet. There are many organisation in the campus conduct the various programmes to enhance the skills in the student and to encourage the student to participate in events actively. One can get scholarship from the university. Based on your past performance. But the main problem is that now a days many number of students are taking admission so that effects in reduction of quality in the university. And the major thing is that there is no ICAR recognition for agriculture.

I'm satisfied joining here in LPU, and I'm a bit uncertain about the faculty.
Placements: The placements are hard to get a job for a mechanical engineering students. The placements are good for electrical and electronic engineering, computer science students, but the competition is more. Ther is a good platform for the students for increasing of placements of my batch. But my seniors got placed with a good package. The highest salary offered is 11 lacs per annum, and the lowest would be three lacs per annum. The companies like Ashok Leyland, Bosch, Opex, etc., visit the campus. The roles of a supervisor, manager, advisory, etc., are advised. LPU doesn't provide many internships for the students, but the students need to search for their interest. It provides nearly 0.50% of its students. There is a placement cell for every branch and block. It provides the awareness to students to tackle with the placements.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure in India. The technology is advanced, and the security is a tie. The library is awesome, the views are good, and the university is the cleanest, and I loved the infrastructure. Believe me, if you want to join in a good infrastructure university, this is one of the best. You can watch all the infrastructure in LPU. The Wi-Fi facility is for 24-hours with good speed. The labs are perfectly working. The hospital is provided but costs high. The great encouragement is given for the sports, and they even provide the scholarship in the sports quota. The classrooms are equipped with A/C. There are many stalls and restaurants with all kinds of food, but the rates are average. The hostel rooms are provided with the comfortable bed, study table, chair, heater, 24-hour water and electricity, and cupboards for storage.
Faculty: The curriculum is as per the international standards. The faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is a bit low as the student to faculty would be 30:1. The curriculum, of course, is prepared as per the GATE standard. The industrial exposure is provided through the internship and the projects.
Other: Many clubs and the events are conducted on the campus. The events would be conducted daily, which increases the student's interpersonal skills. The campus is spread over 600-acres with a crowd of 50K- 60K. The campus is in the city outskirts of Jalandhar, in between the villages. The scholarship is provided for every student according to their merit.
