NIT Rourkela Fee Refund Policy:
After the last withdrawal/cancellation date of JOSSA 2026, if an admitted student cancels admission/ withdraws/leaves the institute without completing the entire programme, all fees paid including the caution deposit will be forfeited by the institute. Yes, the institute offers five-year BTech-MTech (Dual Degree) courses in four specialisations. The specialisations include Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering and Mining Engineering. Admission to all the integrated courses is based on merit in the JEE Main exam.
NIT Rourkela will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech in Civil Engineering. The cutoffs are released on a rolling basis, and seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Factors that are considered for cutoff are JEE Main score, category, and number of seats. Candidates can visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 25494 and closing rank was 43498. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 25048 and 59818.
