Good college, the best NIT in India.
Placements: Placement season starts from the end of the 6th semester and continues till the end of the 8th semester. Many of the students who get an on-campus internship offer get the pre-placement offer after their internships. Companies like Google, Texas Instruments, Oracle, Tata, Accenture, Fractal, PWC, ZS, etc. Come to our campus. The highest package is about 98 LPA, while the average is 12 LPA- 14 LPA across all the branches. More than 90 percent of the students sitting for the placements get placed.
Infrastructure: There is a good central library in our college. All the classrooms in the lecture halls have a blackboard and a smart board along with a projector. There are 2 stadiums inside the campus, a gymnasium in every hostel, a swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, and indoor sports in every hostel. There are over 50 clubs on campus for different things like coding, poetry, dramatics, etc. The hostel facility is okay. The boys' hostel is bigger than the girls' hostel. The food served is manageable.
Faculty: The faculty in our college is very well qualified. Most of them hold a Ph.D. from some prestigious universities abroad. We have 2 exams per semester. Midterms for 30 marks for each subject and end-terms for 50 marks. The remaining 20 marks out of 100 marks are internal and are given based on class performance and class tests. Each semester, we have 5 theory subjects and 3 practical labs. We have viva and practical exams for our practical subjects, and the professors also take regular class tests to assess our performance.

Very unique course and this is the best place.
Placements: We have organised a placement cell in our college. They shall assist us in all possible ways. Lots of emails and messages shall be sent to students to be prepared for the upcoming campus placements of various companies. Many companies provide internships to deserving candidates. L&T, IBM, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte, Practo, Microsoft, and various companies that provide internships with a stipend of at least Rs. 5000 per month.
Infrastructure: The campus is so elegant, so beautiful, just looking like a wow. Everything is there, for example, the gym, swimming pool, labs, Wi-Fi, hostel, and mess. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. There are many grounds for different sports. Hostels are very good. Food is outstanding.
Faculty: The course curriculum is short and crisp. It depends on the branch that we opt for. Every semester, there is an internal followed by a main examination. Practical as well as theoretical to check the deep knowledge of students. Our faculty members are top-class faculty you can ever imagine. The way they teach is practically apart from a theoretical base. These make a student think of themselves as scientists, being multi-talented is much needed.

This is a very unique course; you will enjoy this college
Placements: Many companies come for engineering students. For post-graduate students, companies like Byjus, Aakash, and FIITJEE visit. Summer internships are compulsory for students in my college. I got a chance to do it at NCRA (TIFR Pune). Every year, 50 percent of students opt for placement and 25 percent are placed. Usually, a written round is followed by an interview for placement. Our college makes us practice for these in an online mode.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped with instruments. All sorts of competitions happen, and workshops on robotics, AutoCAD, etc., also take place. The hostel rooms are small, and we have double-sharing rooms, as well as triple and single-sharing rooms. Hostel is compulsory for everyone. The library is accessible throughout the day. Other facilities include a medical store, hospital, swimming pool, gym, student activity center, data center, etc. We have a lot of fests all throughout the year.
Faculty: The courses here are well-structured and research-oriented. The faculty members are really good and helpful. Even the Ph.D. scholars interact with us frequently. Many students get placed in different companies from here. For engineering students, industrial visits occur very often. Examinations are regularly conducted under strict administration.

Come join this amazing college.
Placements: NIT Rourkela guys are more benefited with placements. There are more than 300 companies offering jobs in our college. The main companies for the electronics branch are Texas Instruments, which offers about 35 LPA. The second most important company is Qualcomm, and it offers 28 LPA.
Infrastructure: Coming to classroom facilities, there are two lecture halls. Every classroom has 2 air conditioners. Room is allotted to two people. There is a facility that you can select your roommate. In the hostel room, you will be given a table and a chair and two charging points. Coming to the mess, the food quality is good but bad in taste. Fee for room is 5000 per semester and 20000 for mess.
Faculty: NIT Rourkela has a 1:15 faculty-to-student ratio. For every department, one faculty advisor is appointed. After every semester, we need to give feedback on professors of the completed semester. We also need to give a review to the faculty advisor. As we know, in every college, electrical department professors are a bit strict; the same repeats in our college. In the curriculum, the electronics department has digital electronics, analog electronics, and so on. Up to 3rd semester, everyone will have mathematics, and the syllabus for every department is the same. In the first year, all departments have the same subjects.
Other: The part of the engineering college is the fests. In NIT Rourkela, there are mainly four fests: Innovision, technical fest, Virridhi, sports fest, Cosmo, cultural fest, Nitrutsav

Very good college, top NIT college.
Placements: The placement of my college is very good. The college offers an average package of 12-13 LPA and a median package of 11 LPA. The highest package of my college is 84 LPA. The placement percentage is about 90 percent, but this year, due to the recession, the percentage is quite low. The top tech companies visit my college, like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Barclays.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good. There are many facilities like a gym, reading room, night and day canteen, book shop, badminton court, sports, everything. But the mess food is quite disappointing for me. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. There are many cafeterias, restaurants, and malls inside the campus. There are many grounds for different sports. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. The library is good, and it is open 24 hours.
Faculty: Talking about the course, it is quite interesting. The exams are held every 2 months, one is a mid-semester exam, and the other is an end-of-semester exam. The faculty-to-student ratio is 10 students per faculty. The faculty members have vast experience in their field, and they are well educated and trained. You can easily go to their office and interact with them, or you can call or text them.

NIT Rourkela College Review.
Placements: In my M.Sc. Batch, everyone who applied got placed, but many students prefer to go for PhDs. A 2-month internship is mandatory, so all students get internships in companies or IITs. There are things to be considered before you take this course in college.
Infrastructure: Our course gets a lot of support from the available facilities. We have a central library, Wi-Fi, and digital classrooms, which really help. The hostels are quite good, and the food, whether from the mess or the canteen, tastes nice. Plus, there is a multi-sports complex too.
Faculty: The faculty, staff, and teachers play a very important role in helping students learn. They are not just helpful but very supportive, and they try their best to provide a good education. Their teaching style prepares students well for industry needs. Overall, the campus experience was good and nice.
