Details on Thapar University's 2025 placements are still pending. As of July 15, 2023, 1,884 job offers had been made to students by 334 recruiters who had been to the campus for hiring. This comprises 110 multiple offers and more than 1,664 single offers. 1,774 students were placed overall at the 2023 Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (Deemed to be University) placements. Additionally, 83% of undergraduate students were placed. Admission to most of the programmes is entrance-based. For TIET BTech admission, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score. The One-Time fee (admission fee) is around INR 30 K for all courses and PhD programme is INR 15 K.
