There is no provision for direct admission in BTech at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Chennai. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech at VIT must take the VITEEE exam, which is Vellore Institute of Technology's own entrance exam. VITEEE is a computer-based test.
Selection is based on the rank secured in VITEEE. Suppose the applicant’s rank is above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by VIT.
