B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) - Batch of 2028

I appreciate my college infrastructure and placements.
Placements: VLSI Design and Technology is a great branch and VIT is one of the first colleges to provide this branch in undergraduate B-tech courses. It is the gateway of the semiconductor industry and chip design. VIT students get an average package of 9-10 LPA. Many companies come to hire only in this field.
Infrastructure: Vit has one of the best infrastructures for this course. It has well-equipped classrooms and laboratories in it. It also has a great number of books for student reference and use in its central library. The college provides hostel facilities with good mess food and medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: Vit has one of the best facilities in it. All professors are well versed PhD scholars. They are all knowledgeable and qualified in their field of learning. The college conducts three examinations per semester. All the examinations are challenging and difficult.
Other: I always wanted to become an electronics engineer. This field fascinates me. As there is a future boom in this field in India, I preferred this branch.

Great place to learn, upskill and explore all sides of technology.
Placements: We are the first batch of B.Tech VLSI design and technology, but the Masters placements are really good, as Intel, AMD and many other companies do come to recruit. VLSI being the next big thing in India, it is of very much focus at VIT as many new labs are being made to give industry experience.
Infrastructure: Facilities are way above average, especially the newly constructed D1 and D2 blocks for boys. Rooms are air-conditioned with much space, good washrooms and shower rooms. There is slow but consistent Wi-Fi throughout the campus. All the labs are very well equipped, especially the new 5G lab and a lab in collaboration with Samsung.
Faculty: There are many difficult to handle and not so great faculty here but there also exist some of the best faculty and the good part is that you choose your own timetable and faculty here based on your attendance for the first year and later on your CGPA and a 9-pointer also helps in 0 attendance so you must work hard for all the exams.

A very nice college. Students willing for good exposure and placements can join.
Placements: There is 100 percent placement for the course. The highest is around 88 LPA, and the average is around 9 LPA. The lowest is reported to be 5 LPA. NVIDIA and Qualcomm are some of the top recruiters. Around 70 percent of the interns got placed. Top roles are chip design engineer, design verification engineer, physical backed engineer, and ASIC engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great here. There is no complaint regarding it. The library is awesome. The classrooms are very much ventilated. The labs are equipped with the required equipment. The hostel is a highlight, as many students say that the amenities are great. It even has a gym. The canteens and food courts provide quality and hygienic food.
Faculty: The teachers themselves are knowledgeable. But some of them are not good at passing down that knowledge. Still, they try their best and also give good marks. The curriculum we study is relevant to the course. They also give us many opportunities to visit industries, which helps a lot. The exams are somewhat moderate. Two term exams (one is open book) and internal quizzes and assignments consist of 60 percent, and finals only 40 percent, so it is easy to score. I would say the difficulty is around 70 percent.
Other: The events here are awesome. All kinds of events happen every day.
