VIT Vellore MTech course is a two-year, PG-level course, offered in full-time mode. MTech at VIT Vellore is also available on the UG level as an integrated course with BTech. Some of the VIT MTech specialisations are MTech in Mechatronics and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Automotive Electronics, Biotechnology, VLSI Design and several more.
VIT Vellore MTech admissions are decided on entrance basis. The VIT MTech admissions require candidates to clear the VITMEE. In addition to the aforementioned entrance exam, candidates also need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in the table below:

VIT Vellore MTech fees is charged differently depending on the group a candidate is alloted seat in. There are two different groups called Group - A and Group – B. Candidates are further divided into sub groups, both of which have different Vellore Institute of Technology cost. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. The institute shortlists candidates for MBA course based on national-level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, NMAT or ATMA. The shortlisted aspirants are further required to come for the PI round. Vellore Institute of Technology will also consider the academic performance and work experience of the candidates for final selection. Candidates who have passed regular, full-time UG/ Integrated degree from a recognised institute/ university of at least three years of duration with a minimum of 60% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST candidates and applicants belonging to Jammu & Kashmir and North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) can apply for the MBA course. VIT Vellore MTech curriculum is a two-year plan, divided in a semester-pattern. There are two semesters in each year resulting in a total of four semesters for the whole MTech course. The VIT Vellore MTech syllabus differs for each MTech specialisation.

I do go with Thapar. A friend did M.Sc there and had a good experience with faculty and research exposure. VIT is also good, but personally I'd rank it Thapar > VIT > Banasthali for M.Sc Chemistry.
