VIT Vellore MTech course is a two-year, PG-level course, offered in full-time mode. MTech at VIT Vellore is also available on the UG level as an integrated course with BTech. Some of the VIT MTech specialisations are MTech in Mechatronics and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Automotive Electronics, Biotechnology, VLSI Design and several more.
VIT Vellore MTech admissions are decided on entrance basis. The VIT MTech admissions require candidates to clear the VITMEE. In addition to the aforementioned entrance exam, candidates also need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in the table below:

VIT Vellore MTech fees is charged differently depending on the group a candidate is alloted seat in. There are two different groups called Group - A and Group – B. Candidates are further divided into sub groups, both of which have different Vellore Institute of Technology cost. The Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the VITMEE exam dates on the official website. VITMEE exam was scheduled for April 28, 2026 and May 3, 2026. Applicants had to carry their VITMEE admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.
According to reviews on Shiksha (Krishna Agarwal, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2029), the placements are more than 90 percent. The internship percentage is also more than 90 percent. Top recruiting companies offering are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Visa, etc. Wi-Fi is available in the library and every hostel block, with a pretty good internet speed. There are very clean washrooms and there is no crowd in the washrooms in the morning or during peak hours, too. Faculty members are well educated and do fair checking of exams.
