No, VIT Vellore BTech admission is not decided through JEE Mains scores. Candidates who wish to apply for BTech must appear in VITEEE only in order to qualify for VIT Vellore admission. No other entrance exams have been mentioned as alternatives to VITEEE.
VIT University BCom course admission is merit-based. Hence, the selection is done based on aggregate obtained by eligible candidates in previous qualifying degree/exam. No, aspirants wishing to apply for BDes course at VIT Vellore should either have UCEED score or appeared for VIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test). VIT-DAT is a written exam of two hours duration consisting of objective type questions - MSQ & MCQ, short descriptive answers, and creative ability questions with no negative marking. The university gives 50% weightage to entrance exam score. After entrance exam, the next step of selection is based on portfolio followed by a personal interview round.
VIT University offers a full-time MCA via School of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE). The duration of the programme is two years.
