National-level Scholarships:

  • Tata Trust Scholarship for B.Ed and D.Ed Students: Provides fee waivers for some deserving candidates in some states.
  • CARE Rating Scholarship Scheme: INR 25,000 per year given to the deserving students in India.
  • UGC Emeritus Fellowship: For the faculty who have been retired from a particular college and wish to go for research field. Given a monthly stipend of INR 10,000 and also contingency allowance of INR 20,000 per year.

No, BEd 1.5 years not same as MEd. BEd is Bachelor degree for teaching start, while MEd is master level for higher study in education. MEd comes after BEd, not equal to it. BEd helps you become teacher, MEd helps you grow more in education field and research.
