IIT Kharagpur Cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the  BArch, BSc, and BTech courses for various specialisations. The cutoff was released for various categories belonging to the All India quota in the form of opening and closing ranks. The IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 was declared for up to 6 rounds. 

For the General AI category, the closing cutoffs in the last round fell between 466 and 19141. According to this range, the most competitive specialisation to get into was B.Tech. IIT Kharagpur Cutoff 2025 For General All India Category 

For the General AI category students, admission at IIT Kharagpur was provided for the BTech (Hons), BArch and BSc courses and their various specialisations. Among all, BTech (Hons) CSE was the most demanding BTech specialisation for admission, followed by BSc in Mathematics and Computing, with the last round cutoff ranks being 466 and 1336, respectively.

To get admission to IIT Kharagpur for BTech/Integrated BTech/BS on the basis of JEE Advanced, candidates must have a valid rank in the exam as per the cutoff list. IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for round 3. As per the cutoff released, the round 3 cutoff ranks among the General AI category candiates varied between 450 and 18182. Therefore, to get admission to the college irrespective of the course specialisation, candiate must have a rank of 18182 or below, if belonging to the General AI category. If the student is interest in top branches such as CSE or AI, then the target must be below 450.

The year 2023 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. (Hons.) in Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kharagpur other than General category are - 2297 for OBC, 1388 for SC, 748 for ST, 1032 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. IIT Kharagpur Cutoff 2025 For OBC All India Category 

For this category, the top two least popular courses came out to be the BArch course, followed by the BSc course specialisation in Applied Geology, with the last round closing ranks of 6770 and 5621, respectively.

In contrast, the top-most popular programmes were BTech (Hons) course specialisation in Computer Science and Engineering, followed by Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering, with the closing cutoffs of 212 and 646, respectively.

IIT Kharagpur Cutoff 2025 For SC All India Category 

Students who want admission at IIT Kharagpur have to sit for the JEE Advanced entrance examination and take part in the JEE Advanced counselling process to be eligible for admission to various UG-level programmes. For the BTech (Hons) course, the overall closing cutoff ranged from 102 to 2682, wherein BTech (Hons) CSE was the most competitive course for admission, with the cutoff being 102 in the first round and 108 in the last round.

The last round cutoff for the B.Tech CSE programme was 68. When compared to the General, SC, and OBC All India categories, we can say that the JEE Advanced counselling cutoff for the aforementioned branch in this category was the most competitive.

IIT Kharagpur Cutoff 2025 For EWS All India Category

Admission at IIT Kharagpur was offered to various UG-level courses based on valid ranks in the JEE Advanced entrance examination. Students who want admission to the BTech specialisations need a rank of at least 1768 to be eligible for admission. The hardest and the easiest branches for admission were BTech CSE (78) and BTech EECE (263).

On the other hand, for the BSc courses, the maximum rank needed was 2307. The hardest and the easiest BSc branches were Physics (1966) and Applied Geology (2307), respectively. The easiest specialisation among all was BArch Hons, with the last round cutoff of 2821. Hence, students need to secure a rank of at least 2821 for a chance at enrolment. IIT Kharagpur Cutoff 2025 For PWD All India Category

As per the data below, IIT Kharagpur admissions were the toughest for this category across all the above-mentioned categories. The most competitive programme was BTech CSE, with the cutoff being 22, followed by BSc in Mathematics and Computing, with a rank of 47 for both the first and last rounds.
