Admission at IIT Kharagpur was offered to various UG-level courses based on valid ranks in the JEE Advanced entrance examination. Students who want admission to the BTech specialisations need a rank of at least 1768 to be eligible for admission. The hardest and the easiest branches for admission were BTech CSE (78) and BTech EECE (263).
On the other hand, for the BSc courses, the maximum rank needed was 2307. The hardest and the easiest BSc branches were Physics (1966) and Applied Geology (2307), respectively.
