- The JEE Advanced 2026 application registration has started for admission to the BE/BTech course. The exam will be scheduled on May 17, 2026.

- The IIT JAM 2026 counselling registration is now over for admission to the MSc course. Students can submit their choices till May 6, 2026, with the first admission list to be declared tentatively on May 25, 2026.

The admission process at IIT Ropar is different for the programmes. Students have to give JEE Main and JEE Advanced for BTech admission. GATE exam is compulsory for MTech admission at IIT Ropar. Students must have a minimum of 75% marks in their class 12 for JEE Main qualification and 60% marks in the qualifying degree to give GATE.
