Computer Science Engineering from NSUT
Placements: NSUT offers multiple placement opportunities to the students of Computer Science Engineering. Around 100% of the students get placements at this college. Our college provides good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement record is great. Top companies like Adobe, Google, etc., visit our college. Almost 90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is in crores. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 15 LPA - 20 LPA. Students got jobs in corporate offices.
Infrastructure: Seats are comfortable. Our classrooms are spacious and very good. They have Wi-Fi. The library is great and very spacious. Wi-Fi is available in our college. The library has many books. Labs are average.
Faculty: We have many guest professors. They should be better. They are above average. The course curriculum for the 1st year is common for all branches, but later it changes. It is relevant. The semester exams are average. Students can score good marks easily if they study a bit.
Other: The campus is very huge and good. Our college conducts 2 fests. It conducts many events from time to time. This course is great.

Average coding culture and facilities .
Placements: The course I am pursuing is great. It has a huge demand in my country. There are almost 85-90 percent students from my branch get their placements. The average package in csds is around 18-20 lac per annand for maximum it can be reach to 1 crore. There are lot of companies who come in my college who want clients from my course. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Adobe, sprinkler etc. For data analytics and data scientists.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are pretty good. The are air conditioned rooms and labs and canteens. The Wi-Fi connection is also just average but not so good actually it depends on where you are in the campus the hostel Wi-Fi is not soo good but library connection is pretty well and useful for us. One of the major drawback of nsut is its expensive prices over canteen and other food items and hostel food is not soo good as all students expected. The sports and medical facilities are as we expected.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and very helpful. They teaches us very passionately but for some subject we have to go for YouTube and other learning website. This course is started just few years before but having a great demand in upcoming future as we can predict. The semester exams is level is above medium some question are hard and lengthy but some are easy. Around 55-60 percent people have above 8 CGPA.
Other: To be very honest I was just alloted by this course during jac councelling at that time I want to just get a good branch in dtu but after this course alloted I have to take it but my actual ambition is joining DRDO as a scientist. The surrounding of this college is good if we kept aside the attendance issue of 75% minimum attendance. There is competitive environment but people help each other to grow and develop a good personality.

Good placements, more than decent college, some shortcomings.
Placements: Our is the first batch in data Science specialisation. Though our placements session is yet to begin, we have an exception intern season with 30 out of 60 (50%). Students bag internship offers in the top MNCs. The highest being INR 2 Lac per month (Sprinkr), and the lowest being 35k (Expedia). The average was 80k per month. The company ranged from google, Morgan Stanley, Estee Advisory, American Express, Samsung, Texas Instruments, Visa and Mastercard. The majority of roles offered were side ones, followed by analyst and some being database engineer.
Infrastructure: The reason for lower rating will be because of the hostel facilities, as they are below sub-par, they charge almost 1 lac per year but do not give food and the rooms are small. Wi-Fi is not coming most of the time. The college, in general, had good infrastructure on the outside the best being the APJ block but soon, you realize it is a Facade. Only for the first years, the best blocks are reserved and other years sit in cramped classrooms. The canteen food is bearable but the no. of canteens are less as compared to population of the college. The sports department is quite good, we have facilities for most of the sports, and regular sport meets are organized both intra and inter-competitions.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, with good degrees, but most of them don't know how to teach. They rarely put effort to make students understand the topic. I don't think the majority of colleges provide industry ready courses so is the case with NSUT, where student just cram to pass their examination. The semester exam are quite easy if you study regularly and I have been have friends who have got decent marks by just studying for 1 day before the exams.
Other: First of all, CSE course is one of the most widely sought courses in India. I choose this course because of the placements and my interest in software and data Science specialisation was an added bonus. The best thing about the course is that it covers all subjects related to placements and data Science background is sought out by companies. I think that some subjects related to mechanical and electronics should be removed and more industry-ready courses should be introduced. NSUT has one of the most vibrant college life, with various societies where you could follow your passion. It has one of the best minds though, in recent years, it has been diluted due to unnecessary reservation. The campus is well connected, the nearest metro is just 1 km away. The college has scholarships for needy students. There are 3 brackets for the scholarship first being less than 2 lac per annum, the second one being 2 - 5 lac, and the last being 5 - 8 lac. The campus has a vast campus ground and the society used it for various purposes like dance, drama etc.
