NIT Jalandhar BTech is a four-year undergraduate course, offered across 13 specialisations such as Electronics and VLSI Engineering, Textile Technology, Industrial and Production Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. NIT Jalandhar BTech admission is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for a national-level entrance exam, i.e., JEE Main, followed by JoSAA Counselling. This exam is conducted by the NTA every year in two sessions. The candidate must pay the seat acceptance fee before continuing with the JoSAA process till the end to avail the seat in an IIT or NIT. The documents uploaded by the candidate will not be verified unless the candidate pays the seat acceptance fee. General/Open category candidates are required to pay a fee of INR 35,000, whereas SC, Gen-PwD, ST, OBC-NCL-PwD, ST-PwD, and SC-PwD have to pay INR 17,500.
