NIT Jalandhar BTech is a four-year undergraduate course, offered across 13 specialisations such as Electronics and VLSI Engineering, Textile Technology, Industrial and Production Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. NIT Jalandhar BTech admission is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for a national-level entrance exam, i.e., JEE Main, followed by JoSAA Counselling. This exam is conducted by the NTA every year in two sessions. Further, the seats that remain unfilled in JoSAA, such seats are filled with CSAB Counselling. NIT Jalandhar BTech Admission Dates 2025
NIT Jalandhar BTech admission dates for 2024 are concluded. The institute will soon release the admission dates for the 2025 batch. In addition to the admission dates, NTA is yet to announce the JEE Main exam date 2025. The exam will be conducted in two sessions. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 for the session 1 exam tentatively in January and the second session in April. STEP 1: NITJ Application Process 2025
To apply for BTech at NIT Jalandhar, students are required to apply via JEE Main. The central library of NIT Jalandhar remains open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on all working days and from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.
