
NIFT Mock Test 2026 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will not conduct any mocks for NIFT entrance exam 2026. However, if NTA decides to conduct any mock tests for NIFT 2026, the details, including the mock link, will be updated here. The NIFT 2026 mock tests in such a case will be available on the NIFT NTA website exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/. NTA may also release a detailed schedule, mock test link, and a manual for taking mock test if conducted.
- NIFT Stage 1 will be of 120 to 180 minutes, depending on the course selected
- Questions will range from 100 to 150, depending on the course.

NIFT Official Mock tests 2026
NIFT 2026 mock tests, if held, will be conducted program-wise and in two sessions Morning and Evening. The mock tests would be conducted online. To practice the mock tests, candidate will need a laptop/desktop or a mobile phone/ tablet.
Candidates will be put in different groups based on their roll numbers for the mock tests. The performance of the candidate in the NIFT mock tests 2026 will have no effect on the actual score. With the help of mock tests, candidates can get an idea of the preparation.

There is no fixed number of mock tests one should take before the NIFT Entrance Exam. A candidate should take at least one mock test daily for the NIFT Entrance Preparation. 10-15 mock tests will really help in preparing for the exam.

NIFT 2026 Situation Test will be conducted, tentatively in second week of June 2026. It is expected to be conducted on June 08, 2026 based on last year date.
The National Institute of Technology (NIFT) releases answer keys only for the computer-based GAT test. No answer key are released for the offline-based CAT paper.

Yes, 40 is a good marks for NIFT B.Des 2026 this year (expected). For NIFT B.Des, General Category, 40 - 50 is the goodscore for the general category, for OBC, it will be around 30, for SC/ST, it will be around 30.

NIFT 2026 Marking Scheme of Examinations
Check the marking scheme for NIFTEE.
- Each question will be of 01 (One) mark.
- For each correct answer, the candidate will get 01 (One) mark.
- For each incorrect answer, -0.25 mark will be deducted from the total score.
- Unanswered/unattempted will be given no marks.
- Candidate must choose one option as the correct answer. After the process of Challenges of the NIFT Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or a change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.
- In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given to all the candidates irrespective of whether they have attempted it or not

Mock tests are not meant to be alternative to holistic exam preparation for NIFT. This means the candidate must first go through the text books, learn the concepts, solve the problem Sets given at the end of each chapter or from problem booklets, and take notes. Also, solve sample papers to develop ones problem-solving and time-management skills. The prime purpose of mock tests is to help the candidate get an exam-like experience and fix last minute gaps. So, mock tests are tools to improve ones chances of getting a few extra marks and thus improving ones chances of admission.
Mock tests will include representative questions or questions similar to ones asked in NIFTEE. So, by taking mock tests, candidate will get to know about types of questions asked, marking scheme, weightage, etc. Another important benefit the candidate can draw from solving a sample paper is understanding the question paper layout. For instance, the candidate will know which questions are placed where, the sequence of questions, whether the candidate needs to complete one section before moving to the next, etc.
